I’m in, with the intention to turn this mixed bag of nighthaunt parts, ww2 Germans and gaslands weaponry into some trench ghosts for trench crusade. I’ve made a bunch of standard ghosty droogs already, so I’ll use comp 61 to add one or more of a “barbed wire banshee” or an anointed heavy infantry or two.

Dang, maybe I could actually start the idea I had for the last time we did a spooky theme!!

Alright, my plan is to make an underhive shrine for use in the Hive of the Living Dead scenario in this White Dwarf article.

It’s been very quiet around here by usual standards. Are people beavering away in secret or is this destined to be a low entry comp?

For my part, I started by assembling a few base models and offering up some parts for kit bashing but haven’t taken the plunge to start cutting the kits up just yet.

I did however do a big tidy up of the shed, so it’s looking very clean and organised and this usually reliably presages a period of improved hobby productivity. I also have a week at my mums coming up next week and that ought to be a decent opportunity to make some progress.

A couple of regular contributors are attending Mankfester so are busy with that. But maybe I will try to kick out a rushed entry afterwards

It has begun.

Ooh

Ooh, interesting! Wha kit is that nighthaunt from?
One of the Nighthaunts from Warhammer Underworlds: The Headsmen's Curse - apparently! I'm thinking a ghost possession kinda deal, I'm gonna see how audacious I can make this...

I've somewhat busied myself clearing flames and other unwanted parts from the nighthaunt figures, gapfilling, blutacking various options, preparing weaponry and putting WW2 helmets on various skulls. The banshee has a new skull head and the intention to make a wild mass of hair and barbed wire strands emanating from it.

But not actualy taking the plunge and doing any of the big pose/loadout commitments just yet. Doesn't help that I forgot to bring my pinvise and drill bits for the easter holiday.
