Classic ruined corner!

Build the still standing corners of a collapsed building, inspired by the 2nd ed 40k ones from the box.

Competition runs until midnight Sunday 28th June (or around 6am Monday morning UK time).

Refurbished - take an old model from your collection, maybe something you painted ages ago as a young yakling, and give it a facelift. New paint scheme, updated basing, the whole shebang. Before and after photos required

Obviously this alters the normal rules in that it allows (indeed positively encourages) already started models.

“Converts Need Not Apply.” Create a group of characters that are stock models. No conversions, green stuff for fillers only. You may, however, go nuts on the bases. Models with tabs may have the tabs removed.

Time marches for us all - make a model in an unexpected time state - a juvenile monster most commonly portrayed as ancient? An ancient old mercenary, or the wizened old remains of a once-mighty gang leader? You decide!

Some interesting ideas this time. Not sure which to vote for as I wouldn't mind making some corner ruins, I've got a great candidate for the refurbished model and plenty of stock models to work on. Not sure about the time one though.

The time one seems super interesting, but I do like the corner ruins because selfishly I want to make more terrain lol for the folks that do 40K, it seems like a fun little challenge too,and good for 11e prep

Refurbished seems like a really fun idea for a continuing competition almost.

Some interesting ideas this time. Not sure which to vote for as I wouldn't mind making some corner ruins, I've got a great candidate for the refurbished model and plenty of stock models to work on. Not sure about the time one though.

In my experience that means you will get an idea for the time one that will be your favourite… but just as the competition ends… and will haunt you for years to come!

I've been working on things that would probably fit two of these themes anyway. Though I don't know whether this means the theme will be something else that I have no ideas for or whether it will be one of these that my current projects aren't eligible for.

I’m in. I’ll probably make a ruined concrete bunker for the hexagonal modular trench battlefield that’s currently in progress.

Biggle can say for certain, but I wager most ruined buildings will have some kind of corner unless it was designed by Antoni Gaudi, so should be acceptable. As long as the building is ruined!

Huh ya know I was actually starting to ruin some terrain pieces for a cities of death board and use the cast off pieces for more ruins....
I suppose that's moving up to be a bit sooner

Darn it! I just glued together the ruined corners from City of Ash. Okay, I will do some 40k ruinses, I can manage this.

Hmm. I'm not a terrain guy, but I could do something for my Trench Crusade warband I suppose. Might rope in my gaming buddy to see what he thinks we need as far as terrain goes...
