I bought a bag of 1000 stir sticks from my local gas station.
Cheap as chips, just went in and asked them if they could order an extra bag next time they needed some. I should dig them out and start on the comp piece...

I bought a massive bundle of them at a crafts store and have been slowly using that up for a while, but it's missing the thrill of the minor misdemeanor, y'know?I bought a bag of 1000 stir sticks from my local gas station.Cheap as chips, just went in and asked them if they could order an extra bag next time they needed some. By flipping short corners inside of taller corners I can make floors within the bouilding. I am using foam sheets to make the floor and hinge.
It’s coming on well, though I worry that the parts above the window may get a little floppy. Finally making some progress.

Good suggestion. I’ve put a sealing layer on to try help. I was also thinking of cocktail stick window bars. It’s coming on well, though I worry that the parts above the window may get a little floppy.
You could push a cocktail stick though the corrugated section into the bottom bit and maybe pass it off as a bit of exposed rebar which would at least offer it a bit of further reinforcement in the real world as well as in-universe.
Just a thought. Hope you don’t mind.
