Detailing on the insides. I don’t know what the printed version looks like on the inside so continued the large blocks found on the outside, plus some additional reinforced ribs around the windows.

Of course it would not be a 2nd edition corner ruin without a small section of upper floor just big enough for a heavy weapon toting trooper with no obvious means of access. I have replicated the tiled flooring pattern found on the original.

The outside is fully battle damaged now.

My take on the classical ruined corner vs the original classic. Not too bad for my first 3D sculpted terrain made in Fusion, I think.

This weather is really putting a dampener on my motivation and chances of finishing. Anyone else in the same boat?

I’ve got one base coat on (the yellow brick part of the classic corner ruin), but need to do a couple more colours and then a load of shading and weathering and any scenics (I feel like some very bright green flock might have to make an appearance for that true 2nd edition vibe).

Me too. I get one little part done and go “that’s me done”

I'm in a deep hobby funk at the moment so I don't think I'll be finishing my idea. God speed the rest of you!

I just haven't had much time. The heat is bad, but our house is actually pretty good for temperature control. Old house, small windows, it doesn't get crazy hot.
I still have hope that I'll be able to finish. My vacation started today, so worst case scenario I pull an all nighter Sunday (and hope Stoof doesn't close the comp too early ;) ).

I have folding corners with the basic greys on. So I can snap a photo and call it finished, but I do want to put window bars, exposed rebar and painted on cracks and bullet holes.

Moved outside this evening for a modicum of relief from the heat and finished the base coats and an all over drybrush.

The two tone nature of the building is quite annoying - suggesting that the extensive rubble would follow suit and meaning I’ve been picking out individual blocks and shards in the two colours. Not terribly accurately it has to be said - I’m hoping the judicious application of some grey brown gunk and scenic materials will hide many sins here.
