Cosplaying Necromunda

The RAAF flight suit is a size 85R (metric) i bought it a few years back on ebay as a whim because it was NOMEX to wear whilst learning to weld (flame retardant) It is a little short in the arms and legs, and i probably would be a more of a 87L-89L much like my white paint overalls. I've decided that i'm going to put it back on ebay and i have purchased a few from US models (same pattern layout but 'Imperial' sizing) on US Ebay that are slightly oversized with that i can fit extra layers underneath in winters (or snow activities) In a few weeks i will have a green and 2 desert tan to play in different sizes to play with. Once i find the ideal fit i will just relist the others with the Raaf on Aussie ebay to recoup my paypal slush funds for other projects.

hey if they want to think of me as weak and use me as a breeder my masculine ego can cope with that... dont forget in many societies women are considered weak regardless of evidence to the contrary.
Whilst i'm not a 'cosplayer' this thread got me digging out my australian flightsuit. Put it on and thought instantly thought 'This works for Vansaar'
In under 30 minutes with a quick spray of the nerf gun and gathering items scattered through my living space i came up with this.
If i took it seriousy i would pay mre attention to detail, get the weathering right etc. As it was just a quick project before i head of to work now it will stay at that.

That is is a very good "Out of the Closet" look. might have to see what I can do from my closet. Still really want to do the Cawdor as it is distinct.
Have you read any of the Necromunda novels? Specifically Salvation by C S Goto? I don't think you'd be all that excited to be an Escher male. They are slaves that get beaten on a regular basis just because it amuses the females. Naw, gonna stay away from that one.
Its been a long time since i read any black library necromunda stuff an i think i only read the karl jericho books and junktion... need to get hold of the omnibus 1 & 2
Also my 44L (imperial)US flight suit arrived today, much better fitting. Loose around the chest waist but full length arm/leg. It has a few extra compartments to my aussie one but no side zippers for access to inner layer pockets which is so annoying. I guess i will have to add some some where dwn the track. I'd also like tp dye them a dark grey.

Probably not, like i said before not really a 'Cosplayer' (although i very appreciative of all female efforts on the genre
) Waiting for my desert tan ones to show up, hopefully they look less militant, my google fu informs me nomex/aramid is a tricky fabric to self-dyeAU$45 for an omnibus is not in my budget , i will keep my eye out for second hand ones on ebay.

Great start! You will need to go roll around in the dirt and mud for a bit once it's completed - while the moral consciousness of a Cawdor ganger might be spotless, I doubt their attire is. Are you the handy seamster of the family?
I don't know if you could call me the "handy" seamster, but I did make it. Me and Google worked it out. Since I plan to use this for paintball, I think I'll let the dirtying happen organically.

Wasn't able to find gauntlets that I liked or pick up tanker boots that I wanted. I would have gone for the mask suggested above (and may yet) but I had already gotten material to make a mask, so really wanted to use that this time since I couldn't return it.

I have just been reminded that my children are having a Halloween "dance" at school (why do they have dances in elementary?). The costume will need slight retuning if I am to wear it.
