Cosplaying Necromunda

I seriously considered the Redemption as they are my first gang and I love fire, but obvious Klan similarities were too much to overlook. I'm not saying where I live is hugely diverse (which is somewhat disappointing), but I've always worked in diversity and find lack of it strange. Even though I'm not referring to racism, the intolerance of either gang is kinda dangerous ground in the real world. I was actually mildly worried about the belt as some people have gotten in trouble for displaying nooses on Halloween given the connection to lynching (I actually altered the outfit to wear to the children's school). I did have an elder say I had a cute outfit.
Although, despite saying all that it really wouldn't be difficult to make this outfit into a Brethren. Just add a robe underneath. Perhaps that's what I'll do for next year.
And really, no one outside of this site actually knows what I'm referencing.

Ah bummer, she & her shop disappeared before I got around to grabbing this! Although did find this in my searching for similar masks:Not gonna get much more Cawdor than this IMO. In black of course.
The eye cages are goofy, but the mask itself has a lot of traits I've seen in Cawdor masks.
Ok so I'm thinking of picking up a paintball mask for the cosplay. Here's the kit:

Now I'm torn. Go with the basic black or the one whose colors match the costume?

I dig the garb! I think the black looks better, as you could always add some colour to it but the second mask looks a bit vibrant. I like that the darker colour adds to the shadowy look of having the hood up 
based purely on the shape of the mask, i think the second one looks more like a cawdor mask. i'd paint it to look more like leather or metal instead of matching the gang colors. on the other hand, it's pretty cool that it does actually match your colors.
