Necromunda Custom Board Tiles

Hello, gentlemen and (possibly, but unlikely) ladies,

I have completely forgotten about this and moved on with other projects (mostly 3D objects, also necromunda related) I have, and good lad @Punktaku notified me.
I did not release anything yet, but since I don't have time to work on it, I'll check it and upload it in the following days somewhere so you guys can use it as you see fit.

I'll try to provide support for printing as much as I'm able, and I'll be happy for any feedback and photos of the tiles being used.
That would be most welcome!

Thanks Hawkins44! It's much appreciated that you took the time to dust of this project for the Tribe, even though you've moved on to other things!

Originally, I did the tiles on downtime at work, but downtime is rare these days, and I can't get to do it at home.

Uploading what I already done is the least I can do, when getting back to finishing this is unlikely. Not impossible, but unlikely, as it takes lot of time in the graphic editor. Time I can use doing something more fulfilling. That is 3D modelling various stuff, for the Guard and Necromunda as well. I have a project of mineshaft-themed bits and walls almost finished.

I gotta say, me and my group are in awe of your work. It looks exactly like the original, even surpassing it at times. I guess the only critique I could give is that the underhive toilet tile seems to be unusable for models with 32+ bases, but we still had a heartly chuckle over it. "Great work" does not even cover how excited I am over these - I badly want to print them and add to original underhive tiles. I especially loved the rail ones - lots of soul in these.

If the project is in limbo state, could you throw in the finished tiles for Hydroponic Station λ-9 and Cave system?

Amazing work !!
still have to mention smth, tile 5B CCF - Gate 1(mirrored) has letters on it also mirrored and it looks disturbing ^^

P.S. also, Strong pillar is very unique and useful tile, but personally, i want to use its with the underhive train. so probably i have to rearrange some tiles, maybe switch place of 2B and 5B. Or maybe i'll just get rid of 5B completely and print 2 stromg pillars instead

Oops, that one slipped. I'll fix it. :)

I measured the 'Strong pillar' to fit 2x2 of GW hub terrain pieces together.
And you don't have to follow the 'manual' I provided, you can print each individually, or mix and match them as necessary/desired. It will just cost you little more for the extra cardboard.

@JawRippa I have finished most of the hydroponic tiles I wanted, and I'll upload them soon. I was just too lazy to the menial work it requires.

I can upload the caverns as well, but I made only 3 tiles that are not very useful without having a couple more. Also, thank you. As a big railway fan (now passive, but very active in my young years), I just had to add a train. Even the rules are fun. I my game it demolished a couple of gangers who got boxed in and didn't manage to escape in time.

please, more tiles!! <3

@MyLonelyDeer you know, the cave tiles takes hours to compose and are killer for my PC. I explained it in some of the previous posts. It's sheer numbers game, with millions of pixels and gigabites of data. 8GB RAM is barely enough and the .xcf file usually has between 1-3gb for single tile. It comes down to the number of layers that need to be stacked on top of each other.

For reasons above, don't hold your hopes too high for those.

Greatly designed tiles, we had an absolute blast fighting to the death for a train station's privy.
Thank you, I'm glad you like my work, and I'm happy to see it being used.

Were there issues with printing, or anything? Did you use the rules for the train? And for the exploding toilet?

Also, sorry for my inactivity. The gaming store in my city had closed and the community pretty much died, and now I focus mostly on my 3D work. Bits for the Death Korps mostly, but I have something prepared for Necromunda too. A Cave & Mining themed set of scenery and ZM-compatible walls.

Any chance of finishing overgrown tiles? Or at least publish some of them?

We've greatly enjoyed playing on these tiles, they certainly bring a lot of variety to the game. Also more interesting LOS block layouts compared to original.
I don't know how hard was it to print, because I am not the owner, but as he has said it, it was relatively budget. Also the tips you've put in the document were helpful for him.

We did not use any special rules, because on the pic above we were testing our attempt at making a better rules for pets, and we did not want to overcomplicate the game.

If you, or anybody try playing with the special rules, I'd be happy to hear the feedback. So far I played with the train, and while it means nothing most of the time, once you roll the number needed and you realize you have fighters in the path, heart starts pumping.

In my test game, the train ran over two gangers. One was left crippled on the tracks unable to run, the other got knocked i to the trainsnd got swept away.

I'm glad the tips were helpful. Most of it was a theory. :p

About the overgrown tiles, I can share them. My memory is the main problem here.
