N18 Custom Gangs and how to create them

I am having trouble with creating an outcast gang with the Custom Gang option.

I seem unable to create fighters to put stats too. I can enter a name, enter how much the fighter is meant to be worth and... nothing. So I can't create the outcast leader or their champion. I could hire hired gun hive scum for the purposes of representing the actual hive scum, but they've got additional rules I can't seem to get rid of or replace...

Can someone please give me some instructions on how to do this.

In the Underhive Tools main screen, go to the Customise button on the menu to the left. Then you will select the plus sign at far right of the Custom Gangers subsection. That will allow you to make a custom ganger with all the stats and options available- so you can input the stats for each outcast member/type (such as Leader, Champion, Hive Scum, etc...).

Then you can go back to Gang Creation and create a custom gang that will have your custom gangers available in the dropdown as normal.

I know this is from a while ago but I am making an Outcasts gang too and I'm hoping you can help. I cant work out how to add the special rules (like tools of the trade, gang leader, group activation etc) to my leader and champions. Any idea how to do this?
