Hi,

I have the Kill Team Box, but never played it. Now I think about playing Kill Team with my flatmate, becouse mostly we dont have the time for a WH40k game.
Anyone have experience with DG Kill Teams? Are Poxwalker worth the Points?
Which weapons makes sense?

From my experience (playing against them), it can be tricky as once you lose them, you might have to take break test, etc... at the same time, they're so cheap that if they even took one turn from an opponent (and usually, they do more than just one turn!), they've been sort of valuable.
I have seen lists with 0, 3 and 7, each interesting, depending on the context, too - and that last part is an important aspect of killteam: you should adjust which list you take depending on the scenario and who you're facing.
Weapon wise... you mean for your marines, right? I have not seen a super bad weapon for DG... so go with what you have/looks good :)

In my experience: yes, absolutely. They have awesome options! Depending on mission and playstyle you can adjust the ratio between melee and shooting, but in KT with a 22x30 table, no one stays out of close combat very long... unless very actively trying!

Death Guard in Kill Team are quite true to their fluff, and inexorable tide of infantry gunning down their foes with bolter and special infantry weapons. The sweet spot for them is staying at 18" where they get automatic rapid fire for all applicable weapons and just blasting away. They also have some very nice HTH options, but it's not something you can build a list around.

This is the template I use for 100pt kill team matches and build from there for elite/larger point games.

++ Kill Team List (Death Guard) [99pts] ++

+ Configuration +

List Configuration: Matched Play: Kill Team

+ Leader +

Plague Champion [16pts]: Plaguesword, Plasma pistol
. Leader

+ Specialists +

Plague Marine Fighter [19pts]: Great plague cleaver
. Combat

Plague Marine Gunner [18pts]: Blight launcher
. Demolitions

Plague Marine Gunner [18pts]: Blight launcher
. Heavy

+ Non-specialists +

Plague Marine [14pts]

Plague Marine [14pts]

++ Total: [99pts] ++

Also an option to replace 1 or both of the standard plague Marines with poxwalkers but that's not been the usual choice for me.

Of course depending on who you are playing you can switch out one of the blight launchers for a plague spewer (against stabby opponents) or kit out the leader with power fist and plasma if you are going up against multi-wound models in hand to hand (ex. Tyranid warriors)
