Hi guys,
Here I come with a new Delaque List for a dominion's campaign, I don't think it's overpowered and it may be fun to play with (against I am not sure about that). I really want to play wysiwig before the incoming of FW weapon.

Yop Lait

Leader : 175
-Stiletto Knife
-Flechette Pistol
-Smoke Grenade
Infiltration
(he may receive as soon as possible a Master crafted Melta gun, to assinate ennemy, and dissepear in a smoke, and also a Chymiosynth, to gain a bit more power in melee)

Champion 1 : 210
-Web Gun
Overwatch
(just to block charge and others bad things ;D)

Champion 2 : 215
-Grav-Gun
Fast Shoot
(funny combo with flash grenade, or just block the movement of the ennemy : "Oh look, A goliath with 1" of movement" ^^)

Ganger 1 : 80
-Long Rifle
(Just love the style of the miniature, I really want to keep it, even if it can be fast useless)

Ganger 2 : 80
-Shotgun

Ganger 3 :
80
-Shotgun

Ganger 4 : 75
-Laspistol
-Photon Flash Flare
Ganger 5 : 75
-Laspistol

-Photon Flash Flare

The shotgun and the long rifle may gain Infra-Sight, and smoke grenade.
The 2 gangers with Laspistol may earn Web Gauntlet and also smoke grenade.

So if you had any advice on this list, you'r welcome

swap the infiltrating gear to a champ and keep the leader back in cover. i use 3 long rifles and a web champ with overwatch or hipshooting (have 2 delaque gangs in seperate campaigns). Long rifle with infra sight can be great for board supremacy. But generally you want your leader kept clear of injuries wherever possible.

I’ve been wrestling with this for a while- how best to keep the leader safe while also actually using his skill set? Rifle + Overwatch is effective, but it wastes his ability to group activate, and without access to shooting I don’t really see a way to create another effective ranged build for him. Overseer is always an option but god, is it boring.

Grav gun is tempting to build towards since it doesn’t require the extreme close range of something like a melta gun and in addition to doing serious damage, it also blunts incoming threats, but that’s about as far as I’ve gotten.

that's interesting, thx for you'r answers, finally i may come with something like that :
LEADER : 190
-Flechette Pistol
-Choke Grenade
(may gain Rapier and Chymiosynth soon)
Mentor

CHAMPION 1 : 210
-Web Gun
Hip Shooting

CHAMPION 2 : 215
-Grav-Gun
Fast Shoot

GANGER 1 : 65
-Las Gun (may receive as soon as possible Melta Gun)

GANGER 2 : 80
-Shotgun

GANGER 3 : 80
-Shotgun

GANGER 4 : 90
-Web Gauntlet
-Autopistol
-Photon Flash Flare

JUVE : 50
-Stilleto Knife
-Autopistol
(not sure about the juves, but with Champion with Web Gun, he can level up really fast, while kills ennemy down by the Web Gun, and also help the Ganger with the Web Gauntlet in close combat, or later allowed easier Faceless with the malta gun.)

If you think that can work, or if I need to change again a few things, you'r welcome.

Being a player from the 90's I always play in 2-3 man mini teams anyway so can still use the group activation as he buddies with another sniper.
With that list I would say if you really want to get your leader up close swap the juve for a Web pistol and have flechette as back up.

My leader may not really go to close combat, he is just here to activate at the same time my 2 shotgun's ganger, and he is equipped with melee option to counter enemy charges on my ganger. I may probably buy later a web pistol for him, but I think it's not really a priority. and for my juve, I want him take later a Pistol Flamer and infiltration, to use with faceless with him and my Melta gun's ganger. but at the beginning he will stay with the ganger with the Web Gauntlet who will turn around the Champion with the Web Gun.

If he is sticking with 2 shotguners I would prob give him a shotgun too then, as otherwise he is being redundant for what he can do. Also the flechette pistol is definitely more a back up weapon unless you have 2 imo... This will be my next delaque gang for in store games and also the one I have written for my partner to use in our own games: https://yaktribe.games/underhive/gang/delaque_starter_gang_template._.46994/

Like it, that's quite the same list, and the idea of the shotgun on my leader is interesting, but do Mentor is a good skills, or Overwatch is better ?
I know that Overwatch is overpowered, but you cant' use the activation of the Leader, but on a shotgun team it's really useful ...

To begin with overwatch is my favourite as even your opponent knowing your leader has it can force them to change tactics and give you control of a game. Also the silenced shotgun is great in games if you play darkness descends, (which I would say in a competitive environment is at first a real doozy for people to deal with) and can be swapped for a long rifle or spec weapon of choice as your gang has progressed, he still has the poison weapons for melee and rule of cool :) as for losing the activation it doesn't always play out that you need to use it, just a very useful safeguard that can save your leaders bacon when things could suddenly get nasty...

yey, you get me, i change my starting Guns and skills of my leader, but with all of that, do you think that it's worth it to take a juve to start a campaign, or a ganger is better ?

Personally I would opt for the ganger as juves arrive fairly often from settlements and to be honest I just use as meat shields with smoke bombs. Gangers I feel are more worthwhile but that is a personal pref as I tend not to be able to hit a barn door with juves....

Ok, thx, anf my last question is about my grenade, Photon Flash flare or smoke grenade to began with ?

I prefer smoke as it lasts for more than 1 turn and with Infra sight/goggles you are unaffected so can keep board supremacy. Unfortunately I have to play with gloves on in most games as I am either a staff member for store games or playing my partner. Admittedly a well timed blinding can be very amusing and has a strong narrative effect on a game...

Had a look at your gang, I would recommend cost cutting on the Web gauntlets and taking stilettos to start with and get an extra 2 cc weapons in specifically for the ld and webber champ. Also having silenced weapons and some way to see in dark as if you have a competitive meta, darkness descends can set your gang off very well if you have the means to take advantage.

I like the gauntlet, as it gave +1 to hit, and can One shot (think that the Web abylities is one of the strongest in this game). And I think that i can buy later my equipment to go in the dark, or just use my 30 cdr on gunshroud for all my shotguns.
infra-sight is really to expensive to began with I think.
for the melee weapon on my leader I think he will not use it soon, his Overwatch abylities cancelled it. And i think that my web gunner is quite safe because with his activation he can go and shoot, follow by one melee ganger to finish enemy who are not pinned or just kill them.
but if i make the change i finished with that : YOP LAIT 2
Throughts ?

I quite agree on Web, was joint favourite with rad phage till nerf. Toxin is slightly more effective against goliaths (my most regular opponents) as the 5+ to wound is nasty if you haven't been able to back stab. The friend or foe tactic can be very useful for a gauntlet user as it let's you run past people and put yourself in perfect position.
Looks a very sound gang, good number of bodies with versatility.

thank you very much for you'r help, but after a last thinking i come back with this, could you tell me you'r through on it ?
Yop Lait 3
I take Web gauntlet at the beginning but i can also take stilleto knife to take more wargear ...

Looks excellent, my only quibble would be taking overseer, but then I feel its only fluffy on gsc and feel a leader can be used more effectively in all other gangs...
The melta gun will be a very nasty surprise!

My first campaign was with an orlock gang, and my leader was having overseer, the fact is that most of the players don't know how to play against, so in my campaign I was the first with 0 lose, and it's quite boring to have a overseer leader, that's why I don't take it, even if it's the most powerful skill in this game i think.
And a litlle tips with the melta gun is that i can use faceless because it's a ganger, and take the opponent leader or champion Out by surprise. :ROFLMAO:
EDIT : I made a mistake, my leader have Overwatch not Overseer skill, sry for the mistake ^^

Aye I am of same opinion regards overseer, have only used faceless to swap out non meat shields from danger, I tend to prefer friend or foe for the fun of leaving a really juicy target in a spot where no one can shoot him, can be quite amusing watching your opponents face trying to work out how to deal with it.
