So the search when trying to add gangs to your campaign may need to looking at.

I find when a gang has special characters in their name, it struggles to come up with anything.

An example being a gang called Drake's Watch
Searching 'Drake's Watch' doesnt bring it up in the results
nor does searching for Drakes Watch without the apostraphy.

In this example, a search of just Drake brought up the gang in question, but its quite frustrating.
Obviously not being a developer on the system I can only speculate, but I can only imagine the special characters are causing confusion with the result. I also previously had a similar issue trying to find a gang name We Are....The Law which just so happened to be by the same user.

So, just a suggestion for something to maybe look at is all.
Also, maybe including the gang creators username in the search scope could also improve it, especially for those very common gang names, as the results doesnt appear to include paging.

Yeah. What I do is ask my participants to include a specific string of characters before the gang name (like [LP2023] which represents the store we play at initials, along with the year). Makes searching easier.

There are a few things you can do. 1st, you have to have a minimum 3 letters to search, but you don't need the whole gang name; in your case, try searching for just "Drake" and it'll bring up every gang with that series of characters in the name. If that doesn't work, have your players change their gang name to something more unique that you can search for (or to put a specific sequence of letters in the name as Lepercolony suggested), then they can change it back to whatever they want after you've invited them. Another thing you can do is create a Guild with all of your players in it, and you can see the gangs of everyone in the Guild and invite from there.
