N18 Does Tech Merchant / Tech Bazaar discount House equipment list items?

Hello,

I was wondering. You purchase gang equipment from the House equipment list in the “Purchase Equipment” phase of the “Visiting the Trading Post” action.

Does that mean you can use Tech Merchant / Tech Bazaar to discount equipment purchased from the House lists?

I feel like this is a real head scratcher…

It says "from the Trading Post" so seems pretty clear cut to me.
