FESTIVE FUN: SQUIG GAME
You are inbetween shifts in Hive City when a mysterious stranger approaches you.
You swear you recognise the muscled, bearded man, but reason that all goliath look alike.
He holds out an envelope throws one on the floor, and says
”if you can flip that envelope, using this one, I’ll give you 100 credits”
Naively.you accept his challenge, you take the first envelope and bow your head to look down at the other.
Just as you start thinking what 100 creds could buy you, the clone-like individual suddenly and without warning, smashes you with a shock maul! You experience a flash of pain, then instantly fall unconscious...
...You come back round and find yourself in some kind of armoured transport, you are sat with 9 others who also appear to be unconscious. You Notice everyone is wearing the same bright green tracksuit...
RULES:
1- Whatever The Captain (me) makes up!
i Have put a little thought into this, but I’m largely making it up as i go along
2- You start with 10 lives!
One criteria for joining in is that you must come up with 9 names, these can be anything you like, random, celebrities, workrkmates etc. They are the other ‘contestants‘ in your transport on the way there and they represent your chances of winning the event. The 10th has to be you! (Your yak name that is)
3- You are to be trusted!
The event is all about rolling dice at certain times, there is no way of me ever verifying any of it, so I ask yaks to be honest. It’s just a fun little game (hopefully) on the lead up to Christmas and the Second series of Squid games WOOOO! ...you are very likely not going to make it, so please be honest and embrace the torture!
4- It isnt just the games you need to worry about!
After each game, any survivors must roll on the exp.advance table. This represents what happens on the night after lights out. Any stat buffs are made note of and rolling a new skill allows the controlling player to pick any skill from any table (NCE rulebook/post below). However, if a survivor rolls a 2 or 12 (pick any skill) they have Been attacked in their sleep and must roll on the injury table. Any Injury that can’t be resolved straight away, counts as death (I’ll make an edited table below) This is mainly all for flavour, but may have an effect in games, not sure yet?!
5- i plan to have it done for Christmas!
itll be a crazy few weeks for anyone wishing to take part. But I will try to give eveyone participating a fair chance to respond before moving to the next round of dice rolls. If this takes us past Christmas, thats fine, but if it feels like most yaks are left waiting for a yak to make their rolls, then a grizzly end might occur For their team!
6- WINNING!
The winner will be any yak who makes it to the very end With one or more of their ‘lives’.
Each participant killed will add 1000 Guilder Credits to a jackpot!!!
7- Signup
The first game will begin in a week, on the 10th. Yaks have a week to submit their 10 entrants, and they will be designated numbers, which will be shown on their apparel.
Good Luck!
