Hi everyone, sorry likely a silly question but I can't seem to find an answer to it. If one of my gangers rolls a flesh wound and his toughness is reduced by 1, at the end of the battle, does that flesh wound carry over into the next battle or are flesh wounds removed completely at the end of a battle as though healed naturally?

Flesh Wounds are in-game Conditions that should reset at each battle unless some other rule says otherwise. Examples of the latter are certain cards and skills that, for example, specifies a model starts out with the Insane condition or an extra Flesh Wound.

I'm struggling to find an exact quote in the rulebook that makes it clear that conditions are cleared after the battle, but I'm quite certain that's the intent.

all healed for the next game , just a small scar to impress onlookers

. A fighter cansuffer multiple Flesh Wounds, each of which reducestheir Toughness characteristic by 1 for the remainderof the battle
-- 2023 core rule book p. 67 (emphasis mine).

This is it. "For the remainder of the battle" is the one line that says that Flesh Wounds don't persist after the end of the scenario.
