(1) Objectives mention 'points' earned for taking fighters out of action and collecting loot caskets, but these points don't seem to count for anything: victory conditions are just who secured the most loot caskets.
(2) What does 'secured' mean? This isn't clearly defined, as it is in some other scenarios. It also means that it might be better just to kill the other gang or make them flee, and then claim all the loot caskets, rather than actually playing the narrative.
I'm looking to rewrite it (unless I am missing the obvious to the above two points) with the following changes - does this work? Is there a better way of doing it someone else has tried?
PROPOSAL 1:
Include following special rule on how to 'secure' a loot casket:
Securing Loot Caskets
Note – only Loot caskets Secured during the game count towards the Victory conditions. If a Loot casket is within 1" of a fighter at the end of the battle, but has not yet been secured, it counts as being claimed for the purposes of rewards, but does not count as having been secured for the purposes of determining Victory.
PROPOSAL 2:
Amend the 'Victory' Conditions and the 'Fleeing the Battlefield' conditions as follows:
Victory
Fleeing the battlefield
