I am fairly certain that the Delaque will be the last house released, however the order of Van Saar and Cawdor seems to have become unclear. The fact that they stated Gang War 3 will contain an extensive trading post with nearly all existant imperial arms available leans toward Van Saar however the pets being previewed at the weekender having bomb rats in it makes me think it may well be Cawdor next.
Personaly I would like it to be Van Saar then at least mine and my brothers main house gangs will be available.

What would everyone here like to see in GW3 I wonder? Pets? Big Guys? Van Saar or Cawdor? You could easily say everthing but I doubt that's going to happen and I'm sure there are plenty of people who want those bald patted, shifty, trench coat wearing spook abusers. :)

...What would everyone here like to see in GW3 I wonder?...

From reading this thread I think everyone is hoping they will pony up and acknowledge the swath of inconsistencies and declare an official stance per variable ruling for all issues.

I think they should do Cawdor first, which will budget them time come Outlanders to have some practical options for Redemptionists until they get done. Which could push the fire toting zealots behind Ratskins, Scavvies, AW Nomads and the likes, but those gangs will be cool to see as well so if there are Cawdor already available perhaps the wait for Redemptionists won't be felt as quite a hurt for folks.

I think Van Saar will be next. I think they are working through them in the order that the gangs of legend is printed (has anyone spotted they updated it and removed the Orlocks a few days ago?).

The pets will be in GW3 otherwise we wouldn’t be seeing models now. The extended trading post is confirmed and ties in with the weapons packs coming. Then some more characters. That will be the entirety of the book I would imagine and sounds good to me.

We’re only now getting GW2 and already I can’t wait for Warhammerfest and GW3!!

My major expectation is that the hotshot power pack will finally show up as van saar house exclusive, or in the wargear and rare to houses elsewhere.

Cawdor gets the melta bomb for obvious reasons!

My money is also on Van Saar next. Then Cawdor, then Delaque last before the fun & games start again with Outlanders/other new factions.

Regardless of whether or not it's Van Saar or Cawdor (I hope for Cawdor), I just hope that the new Van Saar will integrate nicely with the original sculpts; my Tek Krawlerz could do with a bit of an expansion (and trying to find the last two Juves, Heavy with heavy stubber, and the ganger with boltgun is a massive pain in the bum).

There were rumours last year of plastic arbites coming to 40k, if so does this mean an opportunity to model plastic enforcers for N17 with rules in a future WD or Gang War?!

I’m hoping so although the rumours of these models have gone quiet since then.

I’m more interested in GW3 than GW2 based solely on the Trading Post. I hope it’s pretty comprehensive and has all the prices. We know what Games Workshop are like these days... :sneaky:

This is mostly because I think the weapons are of more interest than hired guns. Each to their own.

Gang wise I’m not fussed which order they arrive in, though I am hoping for Cawdor as they’re my faves. :D

Unlike almost everyone on here though I’m hoping they don’t make them too much like Redemptionists! Otherwise there’s no point in having Redemptionists or Cawdor. Too much flame for Cawdor kinda removes the Redemptionists big gimmick with having them on each gun.

You need a balance. Cawdor are very religious yes but Redemptionists are the completely crazy extremist types and we shouldn’t get the two muddled as they will end up diluting the impact and purpose of each other.

It would be like having Escher, then having another all female H2H gang who are even more punk and nippy and have poison spitting helmets on. It would kinda make you think one of the options was surplus to requirements.

Just seen over on reddit that GW are doing a Genestealer Acolytes bundle that includes 1x box of acolytes
1x March issue white dwarf
10x necromunda bases
No idea on £’s yet as not up on UK webstore

To be honest that was already the case with ORB & NCE Cawdor/Redemptionists. Cawdor is even known as "the house of redemption". The old Cawdor models are very similar to Redemptionists and they're effectively interchangeable - they very often do double duty as both gangs (Exterminators excepted). The only significant difference is one is Lawful and the other is Outlaw.

They could benefit from having a clearer/bigger difference in N17.

N17 has already done more to mechanically differentiate House gangs from each other than any previous edition. I'm hopeful that they've put some thought into Cawdor vs. Crusaders.
