Loriel submitted a new resource:

Gangs of the Babel - Outlander gangs for N18

Here is rules for outlander gangs used in Spire of Babel campaign. Rules are converted from OCE rules for latest N18 ruleset. For the most part they are usable in any Dominon campaign but some of the rules are designed especially for Spire of Babel campaign.

This is really cool, a lot of great work here! I want to delve into the rules on Ratskins and Spyrers but overall it looks awsome.

2 things I noted:
  1. The entire document seems to be duplicated. Half way it starts again with the same content.
  2. The Scavvies entry has Ratskin Renegades as the header on 2 of the pages.

Thanks I will correct the mistakes. Wrong header is mistake, but I truly wonder how the duplicate item started. I made the cover as separate pdf with the comic life software that I used to make my batreps and then with word to pdf conversion for the actual rules. and merged them with pdfsam (which somehow must have failed or I did some random mistake while doing so)

The header obviously is bad copy paste error. Huge thanks for pointing out.

Just had a quick skim through the Redemptionist rules. The Exterminator seems incredibly cheap...I've been running mine at 40c, which is probably a tad expensive. Maybe 30 would be more sensible. it was 25cr even in NCE.

Have you play tested these?

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it!

I admit that I didn't consider too much on balance (one reason is that necromunda is inherently imbalanced game) another reason was simply time. I had to rush the document ready before our campaign started thus it certainly have typoes / inconsistencies etc.

My intention was that due limited / one shot it would cost 10 credits everytime used, lost and required to bough again which also leads to loss of wealth. So with one shot (which ACTUALLY should be single-shot) weapon fails ammo roll -> limited failed ammo roll removes it. This was why I decreased the cost from NCE, but if it seems too expensive I see no problem increasing the price according.

But there is also another design perspective for being outlaw has increased penalty without giving much back due upkeep, requirement to work territories to gain boons / income (and in case shit hits fan and fighter end up in recovery) it will hurt outlaws more than lawful. Also with trading post that it has random events which triggers if rarity availeability roll has double and roughly 4 out of 6 out comes is negative, and 2 out og 6 outcomes on the table is positive. Thus being outlaw is bad for.

Was looking at the ratskins and I'm curious about spirit wards. Is it possible for one champ or leader to have multiple and do the stats stack? Also is the only way to get spirit infusions through the shaman?

My intention was that only one spirit ward can be fitted per fighter. And Spirit Infusion can be obtained by territory. I had following design in the territories (some minor tweaks to original N17 territories) then One custom territory for every outlaw gang, which gives boon to them.

then two existing territories gives boon to them. For example ratskins they have boons for three territories
Generatorium, Archeotech Device (which are familiar territories from original rules) and new extra territory called Ratskin Burial Ground

for ratskins all these territories don't give any regular bonuses instead they award Spirit Infusion without using post battle action to work in territory (this is custom rules in the campaign compared to normal munda rules)

Then for all other gangs Ratskin Burial Ground is basicly ruined terriotory, but if ratskins challenge player controlling burial ground they must elect Burial ground as stake if. And additionally they gain hatred (which is custom rule in the campaing) against the gang in question.

All in all for the Gangs of the Babel rules to be completed and make sense it needs the campaign rule book https://yaktribe.games/community/vault/spire-of-babel.1004/
Hopefully you find it intriquing :D
