Hey Guys I put together this list for my Genestealers Cult.

Cult Alpha
Seisimic Canon, Hazard Suit, Third Arm, psychic Familiar
Hip Shooting

Hybrid Acolyte
Hand Flamer, blasting Charges, Long Las, Hazard Suit, Psychic Familiar
Overwatch

Hybrid Acolyte 2
Hand Flamer, blasting Charges, Hazard Suit, Psychic Familiar,
Infiltrate

Neophyte Hybrid Specialist
Grenade Launcher Frag & Krak, Hazard Suit

Neophyte Hybrid
Lasgun, Hazard Suit

Neophyte Hybrid
Lasgun, Hazard Suit

Neophyte Hybrid
Lasgun, Hazard Suit

what do you think about it? any Tipps or Improvements?

It's ok - I think the body counts a bit low for a GSC gang considering how cheap their neophytes are.

The Acolytes are an opportunity for improvement - the first Acolyte has a really confused load out, in that the Long Las (great choice for an Acolyte) needs the model to hang back at range, but the hand flamer and blasting charge seems to imply you want the model up close - bearing in mind the base move for a hybrid is 4" that's not going to come up very often.

You could save a small fortune dropping the flamer, charges and psychic familiar from this model to buy more bodies, its really not needed for a back line sniper.

As for your infiltrator, it's the kind of gimmick build that works once but again you've put a lot of points into a model who's going to be operating unsupported in the enemies backline. Acolytes are only T3 W1 models, sure the familiar helps them stay alive but unless you have models moving up table to support them they will get taken out very quickly - and once again, your base move for the rest of the gang is 4".

If you are set on an infiltrator hybrid consider deploying them halfway up the table and out of sight and using them as an area denial piece, its still not the best use of a champion but its a lot better than feeding a couple of hundred creds to your opponent on turn 1.

A Seismic Cannon? That's a bold and interesting choice; I like it. :) However, Hip Shooting can't be used with a heavy weapon. You'll want to switch that out for something like Trick Shot, which reduces cover saves.

If you drop both those Hand Flamers and Blasting Charges, you could upgrade your second Hybrid Acolyte to have a Mining Laser. The Mining Laser is generally considered to be the default heavy weapon for Genestealer Cult; it's relatively cheap and very effective. That said, two heavy weapons would make the number of fighters in your gang very low.

Alternately, equip the second Hybrid Acolyte with a Grenade Launcher. Cheap, effective, simple and leaves you points for more fighters.

You're missing an Aberrant. The decision here is not whether or not to take an Aberrant, but rather between taking one or two. They're seriously one of the best parts of a Genestealer Cult list.

hey guys, thank you for your tipps, i tweaked around a little and managed to squeeze in an aberrant with dual fighting knifes, and focused my acolytes to more of a long range roles.

what do you guys think now? does it look more optimal than before? I still have a little bit of dosh to spend but, i think i can fashion the aberrant with an armour and squeeze in a nade or two

Hey sorry to jump on someone elses post im just starting out with gsc myself (first game last night) yaktribe has flamer for 100 credits but 2023 rulebook and house of ruin have it for 140. Any one know why?
What i discovered from my first game is you want a decent number of bodies to make sure your not leaving the last few activations to your opponent each round. Lasguns are super handy for pinning. I found shotgun on solid does alot more work when it hits though. Aberrant was a good distraction carnifex.

Found my own answer. Yaktribe uses the free pdf from 2018 not the house of ruin from 2019. Guess its pen and paper.

im gonna let u know, thank god i am only fighting against helot cults and ... cgc
Since you are opposed by helots and hungry hungry hippos I would avoid the hazard suits. There is not so much blaze weapons out thier with those two gangs, if the Helot player is using that awesome flamer model from Blackstone Fortress you can just keep pinning them with a cheap lasgun long range.
You would be better saving credits for better armour saves later or squeezing in another neophyte.
You have removed your specialist as well. If you play thier old selection rules you get to add gangers with special weapons later but they are normal gangers who roll upgrades randomly.
The more up to date gangs have a different mechanic and given the quite strong hints in the last succession book that Secundus and therefore genestealer cults will be in the next Necromunda publication it is possible that the gang may be updated to match.

Anyway currently you can start with a neophyte with a special weapon anyway and assuming my maths is right by dropping the hazard suits you can afford one with a grenade launcher. You are facing Hungry Hungry hippos with thier scary masks. Templates and Blast templates like your frag grenades ignore those masks shooting targeting protection if you target the floor next to them.
Nice and safely 24" inches away from those nasty boning swords and paired cleavers.

but the GSC comes with free hazard suits and as far as I know, I am not allowed to sell to the trade post.

I forgot they came with hazard suits.
You can replace armour with other suits as they are Wargear but after you go to the trade post. You can replace armour at the Trade Post as long as you buy a better one which is practically all other armours except flack.
It says better than it does not qualify what makes it better though.

Unfortunately, GSC are a couple of years behind on updates. When GW gets around to doing an update, hopefully we'll see removal of mandatory hazard suits and the addition of 2W Champions, among a few other things.
