Just adding my $0.02...
I currently have warbands for Witch Hunters, Dwarf treasure hunters, Sisters of Sigmar, Cult of the possessed, and the outlaws of Stirwood forest.
Miniatures are a mix of GW, Frostgrave, Hasslefree, Footsore, MOM, Reaper and 3d prints I found on etsy. Photos and details in my plog, links to final photos below...
Dwarves -
And the dwarf treasure hunters "glamour" shots - Thunderer - Engineer - Clansmen - Noble - I also took some new photos of the Trollslayer that I painted a couple of years ago for Warhammer Quest '95 as he is part of the warband - Continued into next post due to image limit...

Sisters -
Looking good. I like the line of figures you're using for the Sisters of Sigmar. I always wanted to do that Warband but never got around to it. I had Middenheimers (made from the plastic sprue), Reiklanders (Empire sprues), and Witch Hunters (box set along with some Empire minis). I really miss...

Witch Hunters, I don't have a group shot unfortunately, and the warband's warrior priest(ess) is on page 1 of the plog, some scrolling down is needed on these links -
Warband Leader -
Hey all As part of my ongoing project to collect and paint the models (originals or alternatives based on the aesthetic of the WHQ iOS/Android/PC video games) for adventurers from Warhammer Quest, I recently obtained the original GW WHQ Witch Hunter model. I asked for some advice on doing...

And Aenur, Sword of Twilight is done. If Carlsberg painted eyes, they'd be the best in the world, but if I did them they'd turn out rubbish, so I don't do eyes... Little bit peeved as I somehow got CA glue gunk on his feet when attaching him to the base, which ruins the look somewhat...

I think they're looking really good. You've obviously got the armour properly reflective and everything.

I think Contrast (like the dipping method and other shortcuts) is designed for painting armies, not individual models. If it looks fine on the tabletop, then leave it alone.

Flaggelents -
It's always great to see some Mordheim action! How did your witch hunters fare? I hope they did well... especially since the battle was fought in the cathedral district!

Cult of the Possessed -
Spent another couple of hours this evening finishing off the Cult of the Possessed's Mutant, so that's the warband completed. Photos - Group shot, front and rear - I'm very happy with the Mutant. My highlights are a bit subtle in places, and also a bit iffy in places, the slightly over...

Outlaws -
That green knight you have looks like a very nice alternative to the GW version. There's loads of room for free hand painting too if you felt so inclined, although its a major chore, often fraught with a great deal of frustration.

I also have Aenur (easily and inexpensively picked up on ebay) -

I have a Middenheim warband planned using GW's Teutogen guard, and an undead warband in the pipeline using Gunther Larenscheld, a Von Carstein vampire, and 2 actual Mordheim "dregs" figures (ebay was useful for those)...
If you want an Ogre, Brutogg from Cursed City is a good choice (again ebay, but relatively inexpensive).
Not really sure what to use for other mercenaries or named characters (like Aenur). OG GW figures for the named characters (besides Aenur) tend to go for silly money on ebay!
Skaven can be done/expanded using current GW AoS figures, apart from Plague Censer Bearers and Gutter Runners (they seem to have been squatted), you'll have to scour ebay for those (good luck with that, I looked and gave up). I have a Skaven warband planned though, to round out my warbands from the rulebook (apart from the other human mercenary flavours), but haven't bought anything for it yet...
Hope that's inspirational/helpful.
