You could upgrade that cleaver on the leader for a chainsword with your 5creds left over. Also your Bolter champ is as good a shot as a ganger, so why not swap the renderizer load out on to the champ(who is better at combat) to the ganger.
Nice list though, great to see some of the other skills picked instead of nerves of steel spam.

Yeah, I'm tired of Nerves of Steel spam. I want to keep them in character, so I figure the leader gets fearsome and the bolter champ gets headbutt.
I see your point about the bolter/renderiser. will think about changing it. As for the brute cleaver, well again it sticks with the fluff for my gang - it was the weapon my leader had when he first joined a gang and has kept it since. its not the best weapon, but sometimes the narrative is more important than the WAAC approach.

I agree! The narrative is just as important as the gangs competitive capabilities.
Vasko’s had that axe since he was a wee Juve, he’s lost count of the number of heads he’s taken with his faithful cleaver, his most prize possession.
I think I suggested the chainsword out of my own bias, as I’m pretty cuffed with the Goliath leader I’m working away on.

that's exactly it. doesn't mean I can't get a chainsword/power axe etc further down the line, but the brute cleaver stays with him
like your goliath leader btw. was tempted to do a ganger with the Escher hair as well.
