Okay, yes, a lot of the terrain requirements for GorkaMorka are pretty simple, and there are masses of tutorials regarding the building of sand dunes and rock pillars.

I wanted to make a note, however, so that I don't forget over the busy holiday season, that in addition to the obvious [Mek's Garage terrain piece from GW, say, or the old GW articles on building forts and so forth] there is currently a mass of potentially useful and thematic terrain-building guides based on building 28mm terrain for Tatooine.

Star Wars Legion and several other star wars 25/28mm games have exploded a great mass of terrain building guides, 3-D printing files, and card building files across the internet over the past year or two, and a very large number of them focus on Tatooine and specifically Mos Eisley as a setting.

Given the themes of GorkaMorka, these are useful for us, too. Well, specifically me [so that I don't forget these links, remember], but us by extension.

These are great.
Does anyone know where I can find a PDF of the original cardboard frot from the Gorkamorka box set? I’d love to be able to print one out.

So I have now WON two of the TTS orkenburg kits, in their seasonal giveaway(s).

The Barrack [which will get turned into a GRC garage/workshop, out in the Skids], and the Dakka Platform [which can hopefully be made to look a bit like an ork oil rig]. Any tips on painting up MDF with acrylics? How much does their wood soak up paint?

Someone posted some good "scatter" [alternately, some good "trailer extensions for vehicles," should you want to make them LESS maneuverable] over in the Necromunda models thread:

I think these 28mm Airborne hand carts would also fit very well into the Underhive
and for ash waste or dark rusty corridors:
