Well, I finished the Steel Rift Authority medium mechs.. just not in time for the April FYSC. I'll put them in this months.

So, I was trying to figure out what to do next and my good friend suggested take mg a break from Steel Rift for a bit and maybe do some terrain. I started working on a couple pieces of Kill Team terrain but the weather this week has been constant rain, so no painting. My friendwrong.. suggested building something instead, and jokingly said "War Dogs!". I didn't have any..

So I ordered a box and started building the pair for Combat Patrol.

Unfortunately the site isn't letting me download the picture for some reason. I'll post them when I figure out what's wrong.

Well May was a bust for me modelling and painting. A bunch of real life stuff including getting COVID.. again. <sigh>

I finished assembling some Heavy Gear models for a South special forces unit. Now if it would quit raining I can prime them.

Otherwise I started painting my Steel Rift Authority heavies.

Slow month, lots of visits from family and friends cut down on my painting time. But I did manage to finish my Steel Rift Authority heavies.

I think I'm just going to stop worrying about trying to get anything done before fall.

This summer has been incredibly busy for me so free time to paint has been at a premium.

Finished up my Steel Rift Authority ultra-heavies.

My next projects will be to work on a couple of small fleets for Jovian Wars to take to Fall In the first of November, which I already started with the destroyer in my prior post. I'm hoping to get them done by the end of the month.

Southern General Purpose squad for Heavy Gear demos.

I'm starting to paint the Northern GP squad today, along with assembling a few more minis for my Southern amphib army. Thursday is supposed to be a warm day (50s F) so will be a good day to prime.

The United Explorers League reminds me of the big chunky Star Wars stormtroopers that they used to make for little kids. I think it was Fisher Price?

Finished my Draconid Command squad and Terapoda (robo-lizard). Next are some more of my son's Void Rangers and for me, cavalry and "Yertle the Turtle" (you'll see.. ).
