When selecting gear for an acolyte early gen. the armor tier only displays the hazard suit that comes standard. I’ve checked the rules and there doesn’t seem to be anything stating that this unit can’t take buy armor at gang creation. Is this a bug or did I misinterpret the rules?

What was the solution? To me the GSC Neophytes seem to be missing several armor options and even the pistols. Am I missing something?
I’ve had a look through and added the missing pistols for the Neophyte Hybrids. The armour however is a different story. It should be showing up as it was already allocated to the fighter type but I see it isn’t showing up in the gangers equipment.
