The Underhive is a vast and miserable place, inhabited by a diverse cast of characters, be they low-life thugs, daring and vicious bounty hunters, opportunistic arms dealers and rogue doctors etc. One of my favorite things about Necromunds is kitbashing these dwellers out of whatever bits I have lying around

First, there's this squat fella made out of a 3d printed space dwarf with a few 40k bits. He's pretty much just a proxy Grendl because I'm too cheap to get anything from FW :sneaky:

Juan Dree is a renowned bounty hunter who is not too hung up about using xeno tech. Juan's high-level marksmanship has earned him the monker "Big Shot", which unfortunately evolved into something else entirely, mostly because he doesn't really care that much about keeping his equipment clean, as long as it does it function well. While everybody loves making jokes behind his back, they also know that doing so to his face would be a death sentence.

Ivory Moira is pretty a newbie in the "Gun-For-Hire" trade, but she's already started making name for herself. Nobody really knows much about who she really is. Some say she's a follower of that weird four-armed king cult or someting, others point out that she just really likes taking shiny trinkets off her fallen foes. There are also those who speculate that Moira might be a renegade spyrer, betrayed and left behind by her former "friends".

Doctor Po is one of the many mercenary aesculapii that are willing to patch up any clumsy sod who got his fingers blown off...if the price is right, of course. Being one of the best sawbones around, he nevertheless lost his right arm and foot as punishment for a botched surgery on a local kingpin. Now he mostly relies on his little servoskull companion to do most of the grunt work.

Shanks the Deserter is a ratling ammo-jack. Formerly an Astra Militarum Sniper, Shanks Kalita was a member of an inquisitor-led kill team that was tasked with taking down a particularly nasty cult devoted to ruinous powers. After witnessing a mind-wrenching ritual, Shanks immediately understood that , in the Inquisitor's eyes, his further existence had become a liability. The ratling faked his own death, sneaked into an Adeptus Ministorum ship that was about to take off and hid inside an ammo crate. As it turned out, that ammo was manufactured on Necromunda and had to be recalled since it didn't match any the weaponry that was issued to Shanks' regiment. Upon arriving on the infamous hive-world, Shanks knew that he had start his life anew, which he did by taking his life-saving ammo crate to the Underhive and selling its contents to any scummer that's got enough creds.

The backdrop in the pic of the greenskin ash waster; with that the whole pic looks like its right out of a magazine. Loving the characterful builds and such diverse and unique miniatures. Can't wait to see you keep adding denizens on here :)(y)

They’re not showing up on Safari, and when I click on the links it says “you do not have permission to view this”

Kinda unrelated but still wanted to show off these space roman guys I converted about a year ago. Behind them are the original models, Tehnolog's CastleCraft Romans.

I guess with enough imagination they could count as members of some gladiatorial slavers guild, rogue trader's bodyguards or guardsmen from a roman-themed regiment (I think the 3e codex mentions one).

Probably could've spent more time on painting this one, but don't really feel like it at this point. Here's fella as is.

Bardoras Yok, security guard turned bounty hunter

Before becoming one of the Underhive's countless guns-for-hire, Bardoras used to work as a security guard at a meat processing plant. He's a sole survivor of a CGC uprising, which he managed to live through mostly because he locked himself up in the cryo-fridge room. His hazard suit was the only thing between the man and the freezing death, which is why , even to this day, Bardoras is reluctant to take it off.

Confession time: I don't know a thing about tanks, but absolutely adore the Sherman chassis. Here's what I did with the two 1/100 tanks by Zvezda: the left one was pretty much a freehand exercise, and on the right is one of my HWT proxies

Bonus:
Since the HWT has no use for the standard Sherman turret, I had a spare 1/100 turret cannon that works pretty well as a barrel for a kitbashed sniper rifle.
