Necromunda Guy's Underhive Dwellers (and other stuff)

It's the face day!

It looks like there are a few Saga enthusiatsts here, so I wonder if someone could help me out.
I'm planning on getting a a unit of levy archers and am torn between the Dark Age Archers box by Gripping Beast and Medieval Archers box by Conquest games. The former is a bit cheaper and has more bodies (30 compared to CG's 28). I want to use some of the torsos to reinforce my warriors by using spare spears and shields, but it looks like getting rid of quivers from GP torsos is going to be quite an ordeal. Does anybody here have experience with any of those kits?

That leaving of Comfort has paid of greatly. :)
Those look very good, and better than overly crisp decals usually do.
Because those guys a thousand years back didn't have 37''-Decals either!

Now, preparing reinforcements to get that warband to full 6 points. Luckilky there aren't too many shields this time :)
Another point of 8 warriors and final point for the 12 levy archers

And in case I decide to run the warband as Anglo-Danes, I've got the appropriate warlord and 4 hearthguards, all armed with two-handed axes.

I like how you get them colourful in a subdued way.
With historicals, some go very drab, which probably is realistic for some armies, but very... drab. :D
Others go as colourful as WHFB Bretonnians.
You hit the mark in my opinion!
And Saga is a darn good game!

I confess I do love me some saturation. If manufacturers get away making models with cartoon-ish proportions, why can't I go along and sneak in cartoon-ish colors as well?:sneaky:

Hello everyone
Here's another little SAGA project I've been occupied with.
It's two 4p warbands using only 1/72 zvezda minis (+ 3d printed chariot), mostly based on 1-ruble coins that are exactly 20mm, so they are still perfectly tournament-legal ;). TBH I didn't enjoy this as experience as much I had hoped, working with this type of soft plastic and the tiniest spears was a nightmare. Painting the micro-nipples and eyes on all the celts was fun though. I limited myself to 1 box per warband so some minor concessions and conversions had to be made, like letting some of the naked warriors be trouser-wearing cowards

The Celts are made up of Viridomarus on a Chariot as the Warlord, 8 Hearthguards and 16 Gaesatae Warriors.

The Greeks here are: Generic Syracusan Warlord, 4 Hearthguards, 16 Hoplite Warriors, 6 levies with javelins and 6 levies with slings/bows
