N18 Hangers On Costs

Hi all, can anyone tell me if all hangers-on cost their value for each battle? Looking to hire a rogue doc for 50 credits but is this a one-off cost or must I pay this every battle?

You only pay for Hangers-On once, not after every battle. Hangers-On sometimes leave your gang, in those circumstances you have to pay to hire a replacement.

Hired Guns on the other hand you only get for 1 battle. If you want them in the next battle you have to pay again.

isnt there a test to see if hired guns leave?

Not according to the rules I have. I don't have the latest version of the rulebook so maybe something has changed there.

Hive Scum and House Agents, no. They are hired for just the single battle.

Almost all Bounty Hunters have special rules that mean they'll stick around for the next batlte if they didn't earn enough. They earn through both Captured and Deleted enemy fighters.
