Necromunda House Bharteth - Patreon Gang

I like the idea of getting more common Hivers involved that have no main house sponsorship or affiliation.

I got some rabble rebel types from once Maelstrom to convert up.

I like to customize miniatures and I would encourage multi part options, at least arms and heads. Single pose are only half the hobby for me since it's normally just painting or following exact instructions.

Do you need another physical sculptor? Would that be a 1:1 or 1:3 ratio for scale? Or is ot 3D?

Sorry, are you asking to be a sculptor for the project? If so, do you do 3D and could you message me some examples of your work?

My 3D modeling skills are basic and probably out of date.
ah damn. doesn't matter! at least you'll be able to make your own versions of the models then haha

we currently have two 3D modellers but they haven't been able to start yet due to previous commitments. so just waiting on them really.

We're very excited to announce our new Patreon for the the project, which is having a soft launch this September (no charges). The Patreon will be producing a 3D model once per month based on the wonderful concept art of Charles Lin which has formed the basis of our characters. The first model in the characters series will be Limping Larry and will be released in October, along with character cards, lore and art.

Alongside the models we will continue to develop the House of Strife book and release regular updates and extracts. There will also be options to get physical swag like dice, coins, printed models and model as the project progresses.

For more information have a look at the Patreon page and our introduction post:

I don't know if constructive criticism is desired, (sorry) but the anatomy of LL is off. Specifically, the way the limbs join the body. Child bearing hips made wider by the gear, and shoulders too low and small. If this is a mutant anything goes. But for a more normal hiver I would suggest some tweaks on the proportions and placement of limbs.

I comment with intention of helping improve a product, not to be mean.

I like the face, gear, and level of detail. Good cyberleg. It would be even cooler if limping Larry was limping.

any criticism is desired mate!

I think the way he was designed was to make sure he wasn’t fragile once printed. But I’ll pass on the comments to the sculptor and see what he says. (Probably too late to edit it but at least it’s advice for the next one!).

thanks!

This post is just to explain what the House Bharteth Patreon/Tribes project is about!

Hello everyone and thank you for taking an interest in the House Bharteth Patreon.

House Bharteth is a combined project between Frankie and Andrew and is the model production component of the House of Strife, a fan supplement for Necromunda. A lot of additional work goes on outside of the Patreon/Tribe creating lore, background, stories and suchlike which are all being compiled into a free PDF. The characters, or Dramatis Personae, which feature in the book are then the inspiration for the models that we produce and give to you through here.

At the moment, each month we release a number of different release:

The first is what we call a Feature Character. This is one of the primary characters from the book and is the main model, normally comprising of a dozen or so arm/weapon/head options. These models are based on the concept art by Charles Lin and feature in the House of Strife book as a member of the primary gang in the lore, the Ghalin's Guns. Alongside the model release, we also produce (free for everyone) some character cards, lore and rules for the Dramatis Personae.

The second monthly release is called the Scenario NPC. These models are a little bonus release which are linked to one of three overarching story lines. Each story line is split into four or five parts with a model linked to each. The backers vote each month as to which story gets expanded upon and once all parts of a story arc have been unlocked we will then release the compiled story in the form of a custom scenario. The models are normally monopose figures from the AUS30K range, previously unavailable as digital, only resin.

The last monthly release which we are currently doing is a monthly collaboration with other projects in which we will exchange promotional models for each others Patrons and give them exposure to other projects.

Recently we have added to the above range of rewards and implemented two new inclusions. A series of Loyalty reward models which are released to backers who support the projects for consecutive months, there are rewards for 3, 6, 9 and 12 months of support. In addition we also added a Welcome Pack of three mono-pose models from our first three character, Larry, Terry and Moon-face.

Last but not least the next goal which we hope to unlock soon is the increase in monthly models released. This goal is based on attaining 200 backers, and that goal is drawn from both Tribes and Patreon. Once we get to that level we will add an additional character model and an exotic beast to the release schedule.

Because the project is running across multiple platforms, we are finding that Discord is currently the best forum to interact with backers and discuss future models, characters, rules and other WIP's.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to flick us a message and we will be happy to have a chat!

Cheers

Frankie and Andrew
