Hi guys,
I'am starting a Delaque list, don't want it to be competitive, but don't want to get destroy too, so if you have some advice...

I understand that it's not going to be the most competitive list, but I'm hoping it'll be fun to play with and I can get some advice on how to optimise the line I'm going for.

Seems pretty good to me. Gunshrouds on the stub guns sound a little funny, though. Maybe on the shotguns, instead? You have to get so close with the pistols you will either take out the sentry or trigger the alarm. But if you split them up on the shotguns you're more likely to have one available if one is in Recovery or otherwise not in your starting crew.

Yep, wasen't thinking of the shotgun, was focused on the style of the weapon xD, but it seems to be a good idea, I switch it. And what about the 50 credits missing ?
 
This is a nice list with good numbers. My one critique would be you need more frenades:
  • smoke - at least to cover the 3 advancing fighters - a juve with smoke and a cheap pistol?
  • maybe also photo flash flares - your leader could ruin peoples' days easily with them.
  • Also I'd suggest replacing the grapnels with infrasight - it might enhance their overwatch ability? But grapnels are so good too....

i'm starting a Dominion campagne, so i had the time to buy later others infrasight, (but my snipers already have infrasights, for sure) really like the idea that my snipers can take quick position ;D
I also love flash-lights, but without commotion it's a bit useless, 3+ to avoid for the majority, and sometimes 2+, was thinking of taking a graviton gun before throwing grenade, but it's less funny i think, i prefer my snipers ;D.
Anf finnally for the beginning i may start with one more juve with a Stub gun, and smoke grenade or flash grenade. (will take others smoke grenade later in the campaigns)
Thoughts ?
 
Going to start dominion with Delaque in a couple of days as well, didn't playtest it beforehand as well, yet I would say that saving some credits on the start in order to be sure you can hire a rogue doc as soon as campain starts might be not bad idea.
You're going to have casualties even your strategy is good and dice gods love you, and hiring a doc may save you a lot of credits instead of hiring new dfighters to replace the dead ones. But as soon as you just can't have a doc on start (as soon as I remember), hiring him after the very first battle seems like a plan, and you're not guaranteed to earn enough if you don't win it.
 
Also, my list is now totally different because we're running mortalis-only campaign, and it dictates a lot, grapnels are useless, long distances are VERY rare, etc.
Nevertheless, I would note that buying too many grenades on the start seems not very profitable to me:
smoke and flash ammo for grenade launcher costs exactly the same, but using grenades via launcher is FAR superior as it's not only much longer distance, it also runs out of ammuntion only on failed firepower AND ammo check, not that 2/3 chance as regular grenades, and you can just go buy a launcher on the black market. Grenade launcher with flash and gravgun on two group activated fighters seems really huge, yet suiting for later campaign only.
Also, just to be sure you noticed that as well: you'll never be able to silence your long rifles, since they are Special weapons, and Gunshrouds go on Pistols and Basic only. Hilarious, yet it's so (one can silence zoggin bolters, but not sniper rifles!). Just in case you thought of using them in Pitch Black or Sentry scenario.
 
yep, you'r right, was alreday thinking at all of that, but i want my Leader to Have smoke grenade, to take cover before his allies came, or blocked the ennemies shoot. For the juve I may not take grenade, and just give him 1 stub gun, before taking for my ganger Grenade launcher and Graviton gun, the combo Graviton + flash grenade is so powerful, and i'm thinking of pull off my snipers with overseer to take Quick Shoot graviton...
 
A champ with a webber and hip shooting will make everyone you play cry in mortalis, mine has a Web gauntlet as back up and he is always mvp of match for me, backed up by ld + 2nd champ with longrifle, then gangers all armed with silenced shotguns. Once in campaign give everyone an infra sight and your laughing :)

that's sound fun ;D, but what if i am playing in Mechanicus, close range is fast useless
 
mine runs around using terrain in mechanicus quite happily, has a grapnel as well for full spider man effect, the ld and other champ give you your ranged cover with long rifles, i have overwatch on one and fast shot the other. gangers are mid range with shotguns pulling fire before spidey runs in and webs everyone from nowhere.
 
There's currently a rule wording issue in our campain, and it's generally about smoke clouds and flame templates, and about pitch black and templates.
Since Delaque use darkness, goggles and smoke grenades often, it's quite actual. How do you guys rule this out?
1)Can a guy armed with, say, a flamer placed outside the smoke cloud put template into the cloud? As per wording, he can't make ranged attacks against targets inside smoke cloud, but the template placement rules doesn't say anything of targeting, just hitting those under template.
Blast templates don't have such issue, as they clearly do have targets, those just can be spots on the battlefield.
2)Same for darkness rules.

If played RAW, flame templates are not influenced by pitch black at all, the good side is my dudes with web pistols don't need goggles, the drawback is that flame templates are almost everywhere in my local meta, Cawdor and Orlocks having them almost on every dude; darkness becoming close to useless.
 
1. Yes you can, no models are targeted using flame templates.

2.As above.

The darkness wont save you from flame template weapons, but their weakness is range. As your delaque have cheap availability of photo goggles, you can afford to deal with those models outside their effective range. A few long rifles could be bought for less than 100cr, and would be able to target them from turn 1.
