Noting the new theme of undead, Are The Escher whips 'sexual' in nature? Or are they included because they are easily associated with the goth/punk theme of necromunda?
Personally, as a fan of fictional archeology and growing up around stock animals, I worry when someone sees a whip and their first thought is hanky panky.
I'd argue the connection of women and archery is more down to traditional depictions of Amazons, so that's a connection dating back at least 2500 years (perhaps more, I don't recall if the Amazons in the Iliad were said to be armed with bows - their queen at least died in hand-to-hand combat with Achilleus). Certainly seems relevant for the strong independent Escher warrior-women.Tangentially related but outside of fantasy/mediaeval settings, bow-wielding females outnumber males, be it GW or beyond. The rebooted tomb raider games, the hunger games, the drowned earth or Escher wyld runners all take advantage of the fact that a drawn bow pose shows off a female figure easily and will grab attention. We can't know whether that factored into Escher getting the hunter archetype, but I don't imagine it hurt the case at all.
Goliath should have access to pink fluffy magnacles.I don’t really associate whips with goth or punk so don’t really see a connection there.
The new Wyld Runners aren’t particularly sexualised and the whips are in context of being animal tamers so it works ok.
The main Escher gang whip though and the pose of the leader is a little bit more sexualised but not excessively so.
It is interesting though that the Escher get acces to shock whips while the Goliath, who have a strong alliance with the Slave Guild, and Orlocks, whose whole house are slaves except the gangers, don’t have whips. Even the slave guild themselves don’t have access to whips.

Don't think they were ever associated with whips though...
I also can’t find the Khorne guy mentioned above with a whip on the website. Plenty of ball and chains and just chains but no whips. The chaos chariot rider is male and has a whip though.
For the use of bows in fantasy, it's probably because Guys smash, Girls shoot and bows are the primary ranged weapons in those settings.
Isn't the Phyrr Cat that costs 130 on the Fighter list?My brother just pointed out the khymerix has two price listings; 130cr on the fighter lists and 120 on the beast profile.
