N18 How do these Badzone Boiz look to you?

Hello scummers! I’m putting together a badzone enforcer gang to run in an upcoming campaign, and I figured I’d share my list with y’all to see what you think and take advantage of any potential community feedback. I haven’t named the gang or any gangers yet for fear of getting attached before the list is locked in 😅 but here’s the list:

The Badzone Boiz

This will be the first time Enforcers have shown up in our games, so I don’t know anyone who has any enforcer experience at all - much less the badzone variety. Thanks in advance for your feedback!
 
Its ok, a little light on punch.

You've got 3 good weapons in that list (boltgun, webgun, plasma pistol), 2 of which are short ranged.

I'm not sure the scum are necessarily adding a lot, maybe trim one of them and try upgun somewhere.

I'm never a fan of melee weapons on palanite captains, that WS3+ is a trap that makes people think "oh this is my melee guy". No palanite is a melee guy and WS3+ just makes you as good as every other gangs bog standard champion in a scrap, so I'd lose the maul and save some more credits there.

Palanite are hard to build because your models and gear are expensive, scum are a way to get around that in a bad zone list but they're cheap filler that you can always add later, use your starting money to make sure you have the killing power you need first, then pad out on bullet catchers

Thank you for the feedback and in-depth explanation! My thought was that it’s better overall to just get the bodies on the board, and the BS4+ isn’t really doing me a ton of favors, so might as well have someone around to melee. Do you have any suggestions on weapons to include instead of the maul and the extra enlisted hiver? Maybe a heavy stubber on someone?

Templates and blasts are the way to go with Palanites because of that BS4+, grenade launchers are solid, but a heavy stubber is an effective, and iconic weapon. Just be aware you can get 3 boltguns for the price of a heavy stubber..

Gotchya. Hmm… I’ll have to give some thought to adding more punch. What I first thought would be a pretty simple list has turned into a pretty tricky build haha. Thank you for your advice. I’ll update when I make some more changes. Cheers!
