How often are gangs updated?

Nomads came out. I even started playing the campaign. But I'm still waiting for them to appear on the gang list. Now I'm playing with a custom setting. How often are the gangs updated here?

Short (and fairly unhelpful) answer is, whenever @Malo gets around to it. Maybe someone else knows more. @spafe or @cardyfreak, perhaps?

Yeah, all the gang tools on here are a passion project not a service. So they get updated as and when Malo finds time to do it.

This isn’t helped by the amount of obfuscation and weird things the Specialist Games Team keep adding in with their new books.

You may just have to be patient and work all the stuff out yourself. After all Games Workshop haven’t provided us with any online tools to do this stuff.

I’ll also add that the AWN May yet have a further Hardback book adding more stuff to their lineup. We just don’t know.

It isn’t always as simple as it might seem to add things to the tools either. I know the Outcasts in particular were proving to be a nightmare due to the sheer volume of possible permutations. There were whispered rumours of new code to operate the tools but haven’t heard much about it since.
But in any case, the tools as provided are capable of making just about any kind of gang that aren’t cookie cutter-ed and baked into the tools yet.

At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if the Necromunda development team knows of the YakTribe tools and sets out to see how far they can go before we give in!!
