If you are making a Youtube video......

They are so slow because they lost control, they don't have a clear view over what needs to be fixed. Or they're just waiting to fix everything in the compendium, to get more sales from all who bought the early access version.

This just won’t be true. A compendium will not be coming soon and people should prepare themselves for that. The current books are not early access, they have been made in the same way that Forgeworld have handled the Heresy series. People are more than welcome to wait for a full set of rules IC they like. I’m certainly glad that’s not what my gaming group did though.

They have not lost control. There are not many major issues that need resolving. Most are people’s own interpretation issues (which yes can be because GW are not clear enough in rules writing and looking to cover every eventuality but to be fair that can be very hard to foresee/do). The game plays fine. They just need to clarify a few bits and make a few changes. That is every game I have ever played (and I play so many games). Even a tight game like infinity had a huge FAQ and is supported with a huge support tool. Clearly infinity is a very advanced game but serves as an example that even some of the best games require lots of ambiguous wording that needs to be clarified or is argued.

Some of the questions I have seen raised, yes could be clearer, but people do have some very odd opinions on rules and what is intended. Some are a real reach. Most do not impact how great this game is.

Forgeworld has never really been quick with FAQ updates and I am not suprised the specialist games team which became an offshoot of FW and uses many of its team is any different. We know the next one is in the works and hopefully it will help.

People making videos will nearly always make at least one mistake. I have been in many competitive tournaments in my years of gaming and even at the top competitive level mistakes are made in games. I love learning rules but do you know how often in Necromunda I forget to make panic tests? All the bloody time lol.

Your positive view is much easier to defend after GW3 cause that book fixed a lot of the mess they served us in all earlier publications.

I got some opinions that differ, but they belong to the sump...
