So I've decided to delve into the world of Inquisitors, henchmen, and the like. I've looked over several rules sets and find myself leaning towards the Necromunda rules with maybe a tweak here and there. I was wondering has anyone ever used 40k rules (shooting, close combat, etc.) with the Necromunda pinning, etc. added in? I guess that it would wind up being up-scaled Kill Team rules. In your opinion, what would be the pros/cons with this?

There's a ruleset called Inquisimunda which is basically a hybrid of Inquisitor and Necromunda. That's based off necromunda rules though. My own house rules (thread linked in my sig) use a set of CC rules adapted from Mordheim, which uses the same basic system as 40k. I really dislike Necromunda's CC rules, so IMO it's all pros and no cons.

As for 40k-style shooting, I haven't tried it. I feel like without much in the way of armour and with multiple shots being so strong, there maybe aren't that many avenues to differentiate weapons. That's just a knee-jerk reaction though; I haven't given much thought to it.

@Necroplayer, no problem :)

As the Inquisimunda section of the forums here isn't too extensive, giving a good read through there might give you some great ideas/ answer some questions you didn't know you had yet. Specifically the Inquisimunda Experience thread posted by @Tulkas to drum up input from any Yakkers experienced with Inquisimunda. Hopefully that helps too!
