Inquisimunda v2 - Reborn from ashes - Community Edition

Things have got pretty quiet around here. Does anyone have a way of contacting Matelloco? Seems like we're waiting on getting the source files to a new caretaker or two so we can proceed with the update.

I know he's going through some stuff atm, here goes nowt, summoning @Matelloco , any chance you could ping the source file mate?

We have the file, which Aeneral posted above. But it's an .indd file, which can only be opened/edited in Adobe InDesign, a graphic design program that requires a $20+ per month subscription. So, unless and until someone with InDesign steps forward, we can't do anything to update the Inquisimunda pdf.

In the interest of keeping this project at least on life support ... @Pddrijver , would you mind converting the InDesign document @Aenarel posted into a pdf and uploading it here? That way we can see what version we're working with and start plotting a revival effort in a methodical way.

wow this project seems to be getting harder and harder.

maybe we should all work on just cop and pasting the doc to word and work up from there?

if we all take a section surely we could get id done quick enough?

Alright, I have the document open, but, I should have thought of this, InDesign documents do not include the images, just a placeholder to make designing light and easy. The file just links to where the images are saved on the computer, and includes those if it's ever exported to a pdf or something else.

I have the full document now, but just the plain text without backgrounds and images :)

To make a good document, I need both the InDesign file, and the folder with all the included images.

Alright, managed to get the document open, with placeholder files using a trial version of InDesign CS6.

Is there anything that needs fixing?
I updated the Ork starting weapon lists for now, the last one was just a copy of the IG list.

Also fixed the wrong costs for the Eldar Shuriken Canon to 150 points, so it sits in between the multi-laser and heavy stubber.

There is an experimental IG list, which seems to work very well compared to the current boring list. updating?

I'd hold off on incorporating any further updates for the moment, as we first need to figure out what changes have been made compared to 2.0, some of which may or may not have been approved by the group as a whole.

Then, once we've done that, we can incorporate the edits @spafe has been compiled. After, I'd suggest we establish a schedule to go through the document methodically, making changes chapter by chapter. Sound good to everyone?

So, first things first, can you upload a pdf of what we have now?
