So i did some kitbashing. This is a old 94 plastic orlock. Whit new oelock arms and shoulder pads and a GSC shotgun that i sawed off. Also i used blues stuff to make the belt buckle and the pads on the shoes. Nowadays i think the old orlock plastics looks a bit silly but whit theses changes he came out quit good.
Your table is nice to look at and has a good size. Also the harmony of Zone Mortalis, Sector Mechanicus and Gang Stronghold. The large floor hatch is absolutely great. Just like the round stairway. I just only wonder if the tall tower alone might not be too dominant in the game?
Is the blue color of the ZM Walls actually Contrast Leviadon Blue by chance?
(I would be interested because that would be the one I bought especially for my own color scheme)
Yes thats the base color for half of them the second half I tried to mix a simular color white craft paints. And it's drybruched whit stormfang. The tower is a bit domenatig but it the build looked good.
If you are going to play whit collors i realy recommend getting a wet pallet it makes mixing colors much easyer. If you dont want to by one its possible to make one youself.
That old Orlock works really well with the modern additions! Would you have a picture of him next to some of the newer ones? Would be interesting to see the size difference.
As normal it takes a bit of time before i manage to post some more of my stuff here. Has been a bussy summer so haven finished that much stuff. Have done a lot of Forgeword stuff. Its fun because those miniatures i often very different and have more details than the normal Gw stuff.
The second is a kitbash as my bullet merchant for my orlocks. Its a mixs of many thing but mostly GSC, space marine scout and a lot of green stuff.
Also im finaly done whit my water guild and i make a road relic for my orlock gang. Also there is 2 bird that can be used a grapple hawks or sheen birds and i have started to make a new game board. i guss i will post more on that when it is done.
