June '26 FYSC submissions thread

Welcome to the sixth submissions thread of 2026! Summer has hit large parts of the northern hemisphere like a half-hearted exterminatus, the perfect time to hide inside and paint. At least in those places where it isn't too dry for that.

As usual, the most important rule of the submissions thread, is please only post once with your finished models. All banter, praise, pledges and discussion is for the main thread, where you'll also find further rules (there's not a lot).

For newcomers, anyone can participate in any given month, by posting pictures of the things they finished that month.

This month I finished my Path to Glory force with a converted hero on daemonic steed, plus I rebased some Chaos Knights I painted 15+ years ago. I also painted the Printable Scenery tower I had 3D printed and sculpted, printed and painted a test piece of 40k terrain, made to resemble the old 2nd edition cardstock ruins.

Not sure what I'll end up doing next month. Maybe start working on the City of Ash models.

Quiet month on the ole minis for me. Mostly tired from work, lack of sleep from hot weather, plus started my first foray into cosplay so that has taken up time.

Got the front rank of some marauders done for Old World (ranks 2 and 3 were submitted previously). Still 2 ranks to go. Finding these guys quite tedious due to all the layers of clothing.

Also painted up a Desperado for Inquisitor 28 that my group are playing as a co-op thingy.

Rest of the time has been cleaning up and building minis (Oldhammer Impy Guard, and Old World Marauder Horsemen) so the pile of shame grows ever larger.

Got some stuff done this month- Yakcomp project/1st ever scratch-built terrain piece, some 40k Imperial weirdos/Ironkin Buri, and my first canon Battletech paint job (Silver Hawk Irregulars - Callison Province).
