Got in a whoppin' two games of GoMo last weekend.
First up, TRUKKOSAURUS came rollin' in to rescue a ladosaurus captured by (my) Skimma Skavs. They are just Morkerz on bikes. We are using some house rules for skimmers and some other vehicular silliness. TRUKKOSAURUS swerved onto a rock first turn and was immobilized! The Skavz's reinforcements came humming in right behind. Not a glorious start.

Bossosaurus had been hammerin' away on the gate for a couple turns. He finally gave up, clambered over the top and chopped a bloody path to the captive.

Outside, Drivasaurus jumps aboard the Skimmaboss' bike and puts him into the dust. Crash!

Bossosaurus freed the captive, but the hapless lad got cut off and blown out of his boots with a krak stikkbomb as he was legging it off the board.

He survived and as I did not feel like buying a Slava, I ransomed him back for 5 teef after the game. Might not be quite how the rules read, but seemed right with regards to Orky Sprit and 'Onah after such a hard-fought game.

We had the Fort out, so next game was "DA SIEGE". This time the Skavs staged a daring raid on FORT-O-SAURUS!!!!!!!
Boom! The Gate goes down. Krak Stikkbomz +Lobba+BS4 has been a killa kombo for the Skavboss.
One of the bikes zooms in and grabs a scrap counter. The others tail TRUKKOSAURUS and keep it busy.

It's a battle of attrition. The Skavs superior numbers and mobility finally wear down the mighty TRUKKOSAURUS. Even BIKEOSAURUS is not enough to tip the balance. After about 3 rounds of bottle tests, the mob fails a roll and retreats.

Another great rumble. Post-game injury roll sees me, not surprisingly, roll "Captured" .....looks like it's back to the Fort next month!

Great battle reports! I enjoyed reading them and I like the idea of using 'counts as' to include new factions. I would be open to an opponent using their own home brew rules for new factions too, the handful of 'official' factions have become very old over the years. Love the models and terrain. Are those Adeptus Mechanichus models? I would love to use the new ash wastes nomads models to make a new faction (not too sure about the riding bugs... But maybe they would make good 'counts as' Muties?). I would prefer to base them on the Diggas but with different background and campaign rules.

Anyway good on you for ransoming back the captive for only 5 teef, the way I see it if you cripple your opponent so much that they fall behind you in the campaign then it won't be as much fun krumping them next time right?

Thanks. They are Ad-mech models. I originally was playing them as Muties (hence the Plasma) but have retro-fitted them into Morkerz. (So that Plasma gun now counts as TL Kannons) I made some house-rules for vehicle creation, and wanted to test play them.

I should take a look at the Ash Wastes rules. I love, love, love the Necromunda Community Ed. I assume the Ash Waste rules are an addition on top of the New Necro rules? The new Necromunda did not catch my fancy. I tried a couple games, but it was just too steep a learning curve.

And yeah, our "campaign" is just me and a buddy getting in a game or two every month or two. We are not in a race to "win". Got to keep 'em in da fight!
