The Story
In the nightmare industrial underworld of Necromunda, brutal gangs clash in desperate battles to increase their standing with the rich decadent families who occupy the uppermost spire of the teeming hive city. Great book. Gave me a good overall feel for life beyond the houses; I loved the idea of the humble lamplighter, and the political allegory in the economic hierarchy within the hive. But still not as good as SURVIVAL INSTINCT.

Junktion was my favourite book. I've used elements of it as the basis for my settlement Junction City and my campaign set there.

Oh the setting was awesome! I just didn't care for the people.

You should rate it & write a review too. I know my opinions are superior, but other viewpoints are valid too. ;) Plus if you think it's worth more than the 3 stars I rated it, now's your chance to publicly say so!

I've only read a few of them so can't fairly compare. I normally read the likes of Robin Hobb, or Chris Wooding, but lately I've really gotten into 'young adult/teen' fiction for some reason. Philip Reeve, J.L. Clark etc.

Oh, you could still give this book a rating at least!

I just started rereading the Tripods series from 1967. Although YA wasn't really a thing then, that's what I think it would be.

Do it slowly through Black Library. Since I read super slowly, I'd only ever need to buy one every 3 mo or so.
