I do every hachette collection since the end of conquest. Next collection will be release in my country by the end of august. But after conquest, imperium, combat patrol, Mortal realms, Stormbringer what is left? Hachette collection of big release like a Stormlord or specialist games?

I don't see the first option because each collection so far has been made with the idea of being playable in a small amount of point and then eventually to expand on it. Plus if they do that it will be i believe included in another collection.

The second option? there is plenty of small games in the specialist departemnt. The prime candidate should be Necromunda. The games has enought material for a full 80 issues. Plus being translated could really expand the players base?

If there is not enought for a full collection why not add Bloodbowl?

A Necromunda collection would be pretty cool - though being a specialist game they might not want it taking things too far away from 40k/AoS mainline systems.

Let’s say they do though. Well, there’s plenty of opportunity to drop sprues (the main reason these are popular is the object included with the magazine right?) and the logical place to start is basically shipping Hive War, or as that’s still a current product, Underhive.

They could have a generous Issue #1 and ship a couple of sprues, though I suspect it may be just the one. Probably a gang sprue - I’d say Goliath as they’re chunky and easy to assemble (bar the cigar). They could even include a few paints?

The magazine gives a very basic Gang List, such as those found in Hive War an overview on Necromunda as a Whole and so on.

Issue #2 gives you another Gang Sprue, let’s say Orlock as they’re also chunky and easy to build plus more of before in the magazine.

Issue #3 would have to be more practical to allow collectors to start playing and as such I’d say it would have to be a Hive War/Secondus paper mat (walls drawn on), a set of 8 Necromunda dice and the blast templates, clear ruler. Plus basic rules to start playing in the magazine based on Hive War.

Issue #4 could include the barricade sprue and a set of Tactics Cards etc. to expand the basic game.

Issue #5 gives you a set of walls.

After that point you have a very basic setup that’s playable. Following issues can add whatever.

Thoughts??

I like the idea, but I'm not sure if Necromunda is an ideal game / fit for the concept
There are a lot of moving parts (terrain, very specific gang rules) so they would need a modified concept.
perhaps a campaign like the secundus box or the enforcer/cgc box might work?

Well that’s the thing, it can only ever be a mini starter/taster set as after a while they’ll want you to just buy the big books.

I’m not sure if it could sustain an 80 magazine run without treading on a lot of toes or just shipping a lot of scenery sprues.

Not sure what they did with the Kill Team one. Plus they’ve sorta done a part work that shipped a lot of terrain (in brown plastic).

Which is a shame as a “Build your own Underhive” magazine might actually sustain 80 issues, though the nine with just a single plastic tile on would be the boring weeks. 😂
