Kickstarter for 3d Printed 40K Monorail

Hi All,

I've had a thread running over in the trading post for a few weeks but as there are only 5 days left on this KS I thought I'd just do a quick post over here just in case anyone missed it - I'm not trying to spam forums honestly mods!

I'm running a KS for 3d printable STL files for a 40k scale monorail system with various carriages and trains, all files are being tested on 4 printers 1 super cheap, 2 middle of the road and 1 couple of grand one to ensure they are robust.

I also have a few pre-printed sets up for grabs too but not too many as I have limited printing capacity for such large designs

Love the pics. The piece - and the painting - look like amazing table terrain. Would love to play on a table with that monorail on it!

Cheers!, it definitely makes the table feel more lived in. Working on a scenario game where 1 side has to get train across board whilst under attack...

@Watcorp I wanted to check something with you. I was an early backer getting in on the £25 deal, even though I don’t own a 3D printer. (I don’t own a computer either) and I wanted to help make it happen.

Once the kick starter completes, am I ok to get someone who has a 3D printer to print them for me?

Hi,

Not a problem - getting someone to print files for you is fine as long as they don't produce for re-sale to anyone else (and as long you don't sell them on either )

Understood, and no worries of that. These little beauties are going to be mine and mine alone. If anyone wants to borrow them to play on when I’ve painted them ... they’re gonna have to plead their case in writing, sign a N.D.A. and leave several body parts as a deposit!
