I just discovered that Kingdom Death game from a link back from their Kickstarter comments page. That game looks crazy intense, with really high production quality.

It is. I have it and it is a lot of fun. It's a solid cross between RPG and Wargame. Anyone who enjoys Necromunda will likely enjoy it. Also with the nature of the AI system for the monsters, it can easily be played solo and still have the same game experience. Obviously the social aspect is lacking.

Some of you may have read in my previous missives that my buddies and I were lucky enough to be play testers for this game for Cad and the boys. The game has been 20 years in the making with a rich, well thought out, and fully detailed history to it, and the miniatures are amazing. As such we had less than a dozen items to mention to them. One of the easiest, and most pleasant Beta's I've playtested.
On a recent trip to the 4Ground factory we were present the day the 3D renderings came in from the sculptor, and we've played with the actual miniatures. The detail on them is everything the renders promise, and I've backed this mainly for the mini's which are gonna be a pleasure to paint.
