Hi, does anyone have any recommendations please for someone to lasercut mdf terrain in the UK from files purchased online, for post to London (or collection)? Ideally someone who is familiar with these types of files and games oriented. I can of course search lasercutting UK but sometimes it is better to find a specialist recommendation through the community. Etsy and ebay are options for precut kits of course, but I have a few files I don't think I'll be able to find there. I'd be very much obliged for recommendations/approaches, thank you.

After reaching out for some quotations to a few different lasercutters, I am really surprised at the cost for cutting MDF terrain from purchased/downloaded files. I can literally buy a decent desktop lasercutter for the same as some of the quotes I received. Which I may just do. I guess what you are paying for, is the time spent, if it's a small business and they only have one machine then it will take them a day (maybe half a day) presumably to cut a complex kit, so you're paying a day rate for a technician.
It turns out some of the kits from TT Combat e.g. amongst others are very well priced, based on these quotations.

I mean, if Custom Project X is as large as TTCombat Project Y, then they're probably going to cost about the same.
