So since Tribemeet I've been inspired to get on with some of my past unfinished projects and start some of the new stuff I've just never gotten around to.

First up is finishing off some of my old Escher girls to match my current theme.

I'm glad that TribeMeet this year seems to have boosted people into doing some modelling & painting - it seemed last year infected half of the attendees with some kind of hobby funk that really slowed us down since.

Cheers. I'm enjoying the project. I've got Orlocks to do after the Van Saar and the half dozen or so Escher that still need finishing.

I'm not sure what to do with my Goliaths though. I don't have many of the metals as most of the gang was the old plastic models, I also really like the new Goliaths who I think are the only gang that are 100% improved over the classics.

Took a break from painting to rearm some reinforcements which have recently arrived from the Sumpside resort of Ebay.

Van Saar Gangers and Juve WIP

The leader model (now just a lowly ganger) has had his plasma pistol swapped for a new Orlock auto pistol and his chainsword (which was already missing) replaced with an Eldar sword. The Juve has had his small knife replaced by the larger falchion/messer like blade also from the Orlock sprue and the ganger has had his autogun replaced by the former leaders plasma pistol, I'm going to give him a sword too, but the part hasn't arrived yet.

I really like the paint job on that plasma pistol's nose, might try something similar with the aquilons KT I'm currently working on.

I have some extra Goliath Juves, and some Van Saars in the Trading Post. Finding Goliath metal gangers has been a challenge...it was a small range as well.

I would be interested in the Goliath juves and the Orlock with autopistol and knife, but shipping to the UK is likely to be too expensive I'm afraid.

Yeah finding some of the specific models seems exceptionally hard. I can't find the Van Saar with lasgun and pistol on eBay and the Van Saar leader with meltagun also seems very rare, the only ones I've seen lately look like dodgy recasts to me. There's others from the Orlock and Escher ranges that seem really rare too. Goliath's aren't too hard to find in the UK though, most of the range seems to be available on eBay including both leaders and both heavies.

Not sure what to do with the bases at the moment. Go classic with Goblin green and flock or something a bit more modern.

I am a bit partial to the old school goblin green, flock bases so that gets my vote.
