Been working on my Howling Banshees this week.
I'm not sure about the red hair though. Does it work or should I change it to blue to match the loincloths and other wrappings, or go with something like black?
Overall the Banshees are a nice kit but over priced for just 5 models at £40 RRP, even with a discount it's quite steep. You also get 5 1/2 banshees as there is an alternative torso hair and weapons depending on whether or not you want to make the Exarch. I ended up buying the bits for an extra banshee but couldn't get hold of the correct legs (guess everyone has had the same idea), so had to order a different set with torso, legs and hair, but at least I used the arms up.
The poses are quite nice although kind of samey as they're all balanced on one leg jumping off an Eldar themed tactical rock, a couple with both legs on the ground would have been nice. The kit assembled well, but needs better keying on the arms, there were sort of bumps to put them in the correct position but they weren't very prominent or effective. Like most GW stuff these days there is a noticeable size increase. They're closer to 32mm scale than 28mm now
