LDZA, A tale of five DayZ Survivors

Hey @Pagumb , that was your character that shotgunned that dude. That extra movement and shotgun (with its massive bonuses at short range) was an awesome combo when I could pull it off. Unfortunately it didn't work out so often as it was a high risk high reward strategy. It put you right in the thick of the action though.

Part 3

In the Green wing of the Mall, @Biggle_Bear attempts to attack @radulykan ’s base.

Empty handed, the shotgun crew leave through the main entrance.

But luck deals them a hand and they bump into another, more successful, survivor group protecting their new acquisitions!

The Captain, draws upon the only tactic he knows: CHARGE!!

Unluckily for the shotgun crew, the three survivors protecting the loot all have automatic weapons… Byron is the first to fall.

Ryan is next, but the Captain returns fire with his revolver and takes one of them out

Freddy almost makes the distance, but before he can swing his crowbar, the Captain fails to dodge the incoming bullets and is left shell shocked. Today was not their lucky day.

part 4

The crew hear a rumour of an entire survivor group being massacred in the yellow mall: time to investigate!

Byron scouts ahead. The rumours were true, but it looks like they arnt the only ones to hear them…

The crew rush the zombified survivors, hoping to loot the newly dead of any gear before the other group arrive

Byron tries to pin them down with his hunting rifle, but against @radulykan ‘s grizzled group, he might as well be firing a paintball marker! The zombies on the other hand, very much hear the gunshots…

The other group burst around the corner and open fire! The Captain is rushed by farmer Giles, who snatches a survivor pack from him, but it does create an oppotunity for Freddy to scoop up a heavy machine once used by the massacred group. Byron covers their retreat, but is taken by surprise by a wandering zombie, only just making it out himself.

Saturday Night Zombie action! We take a break from the zombie game, by playing Zombies!!!:the game! (Note:Rad didn’t win )

The Captain and Biggle call a truce, “I’m sick of all these goody two shoes, nice guys kicking our asses all the time! Let’s wait in the car park and jump em’ when they’ve got all their ammo and their blades are sharp! What could go wrong?”

Part 5: Good vs Thug

Stoof the dog leads the charge with scooby and John wicks dog in support. @Pagumb the burgler is the first to go down, his assassin hiding amongst the playground

The captains crew hold the zombies at the barrel barricades, but a roar of automatic gun fire tears through zombie and survivor alike!

The ‘good’ survivors attract the attention of the zombies, but overwhelming firepower means enough shots get through to take down Alan.

Biggle himselfholds off the pack of dogs, he mercilessly takes out Stoof the dog

The Captain and his last employee are taken down by John wick and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Biggle finally hits the dirt

Radulykan’s crew hold back the zombie masses, but the amount of gunfire has drawn them in from miles away. Raduulykan and Horuswaspretty both make it into the mall for safety.

… but unfortunately it’s too little, too late. They’re coming for you (Barbara)!

Part 6 Finalè: Last Stand in the Twin Peaks Mall (1/2)

The defenders ready themselves and count their bullets, but will it be enough

The great horde shambles forward, absorbing the incoming gunfire

But its no good, the shambling mass are only encouraged by the furious noise

The zombies breach the doorways and come face to face with the desperate survivors

The first zombie makes contact (of coarse it has to be zombie Shaun vs John Wick)

The survivors are soon swarmed, but hold their own, at least for now

Despite holding the living dead back, the first survivor falls and has his guts ripped from his toned abs. The rest of the group take the brutal slaughter of their leader, @radulykan, pretty hard

Honourable mention to @horuswaspretty ‘s dogs on the other side. They formed the shield wall and held the hoard back for nearly the whole scenario. The two of them would still be there to this day if the zombies didn’t find a way around the bottleneck.

Part 7- the last part, I promise:

Punktaku puts down zombie Stoof

Things are becoming desperate for both teams

Punktaku finally gets brought down, it didn’t take long for Radulykan to turn just afew feet away

A loud noise suddenly interrupts the slaughter, a helicopter hovers over the glass roof of the mall, clearly surveying the massacre. The only three left are Horuswaspretty, scooby doo, and clockwork orange. ….never mind, clockwork just died…

Horuswaspretty sees a gap in the distracted hoarde and makes a rush to the elevator! Scooby doo loyally follows to heel!

The doors close with a <ping> as the living dead smash against the strengthened glass

<mall music plays over gurgling haunting cries>

Horuswaspretty reaches into his pocket and produces a Scooby snack. He strokes a blood soaked scooby, gives a relieved sigh as the pilot beckons them into the open doors of the helicopter, and takes a bite of the dog treat.
“Good boy Scoob, good boy”
