This is Grub, he enjoys long walks on dark nights and can often be found standing silently in the shadows, breathing heavily awaiting his next unsuspecting victim. In game I see him as a normal ganger, he could also stand in for the headsman if I so wished as the fluff eludes to there being more than one. I’m aware his load out is not the best but I couldn’t resist that cool Cawdor axe. My green stuff skills are very basic but hopefully I have pulled it off. I would also like to say the base model has been done time and again for inq28 conversions and I guess this is my homage to those who have inspired me to put my own stamp on this classic mini. Let me know what you think 🙂

The Stig is coming along at a glacial pace but like everything else I had to tinker with him. The one thing I hated about this mini was how small the heavy stubber and flamer was. I tried putting a gw heavy stubber on him but found then the gunner wouldn’t fit 🙄. In the end a hybrid of the stock one and a gw one was needed. A bit of cutting and some dental tape later (and of course a candle!) and I feel much better about it being a heavy stubber and not a pea shooter. More to come. Also I’m considering replacing the rebreather for some chainmail. I think the rebreather is cool and everything but seems a little too hi tech to be given to a stig shambler. Thoughts?

So I have found a mask for him. Much happier with him now. He fits in with the theme I’m going for and is a good match for my tattered Knight. Now to work on the gunner!

Personally I'd be filling in the topmost eyehole, if only to remove the nurgle symbolism. Having just two uneven eye holes would also suggest the level of deformity beneath. Although you can easily lean in to the scavenging side and leave it as is - it's not like the gang will know the relevance of three circles arrayed like that.
Funny you say that as that is what I wanted to do. I also feel it would elude to facial disfigurement. I plan on adding some nuts and bolts to add to the homemade look.

Another zealot in the making. This guy is part inspired by the death eaters in Harry Potter. Been reading the books with my son and watching the films with him non stop lately and this conversion has been on my mind for a while. Still more to add but you get the idea. Also I have filled the offending hole on the stig.

So last night I had an awesome evening having a video chat with one of my oldest and dearest friends in our digital pub “the prince of ales”. We grew up together in England but he now lives in Estonia and I live in Australia and the digital pub is kind of our only option. We talked crap over a few beers and he was painting his ash wastes themed Cawdor gang as I assembled my sump sea pirate captain. I was really inspired to build this guy after reading through the yak meet 21 mini thread and I happened to have a group of bits that I thought would work rather well. He isn’t finished but I intend to get him done and at least primed today. I see a few issues with him now I have awoken from my beer induced slumber. I see I need to get rid of the second holster as he obviously has no means to use a second pistol and sadly the sword is also looking a bit awkward for a man with one hand. The crow needs to have some form of bionic to make him look like a sheen bird. What are people’s thoughts?

These are awesome. I have 2 questions:

1. Where is the pirate's head from?

2. How did you make the wrappings on the stig-shambler gun?

If you swap the las for a plasma pistol maybe having 2 makes sense. When it gets to hot you just drop it and draw the next one. Or holster it as it recharges depending on what version you play.

Swords are for waving about to look important or for emphasise when getting the crew all riled up. As much as for sticking people with.
Although with the hat, beard, crow, hook. Is it a detail to far that's making it look like a bit of an afterthought tacked on.tne back?
