Cheers man! That’s how I view them and what I’m aiming to do.Truly these represent what faith in the Corpse Emperor provides - dirt, rust, suffering and an eventual glorious death in cleansing conflagration.

Wow! Probably the greatest praise I’ve ever had. John Blanche and his style is definitely a source of my inspiration and unashamed to say one of my hobby heroes. Thank you @cainex1Absolutely Blanchian (without everyone having high heels and mohawks)

It was surprisingly easy to achieve. Martian iron crust followed by dry brush deneb stone then typhus corrosion and finish with tamiya weathering master dark earth. That’s it! Thanks for your kind commentsThis is all excellent. Stuff like the freehand flames and checkering on your man's cloak really make these.
I'm also curious about how you did the base on your vehicle? It has a really natural looking texture to it.

Thanks, still a way to go before I’m happy with him but hope to paint him up soon! Never liked the head it comes with. Shame as the miniature has great elements. You did a real improvement to that executioner.
I get why they redesigned it, they just made him ever so boring. The new head had the right idea just poorly executed.Totally agree, the original had a lot of character and they dropped the ball with the redesign.

So it’s been a while since I have posted but I have done a few things! Also have plenty more on the work bench. I kinda got sucked in by Instagram for a while and as much as I found others work inspirational and hopefully inspired others, I found the whole thing a bit artificial. I have decided I will now focus on posting my works here. I’m by no means a prolific hobbyist but as and when I complete something it will only be here. Hope you enjoy the images and comments and criticism welcome62AB5BBD-D53D-4655-ABA9-35CF645E5B3F.jpeg
