Here is a file I made to try and see how many fighters in Necromunda have rules but no “official“ mini yet and have to be kitbashed or such. Perhaps you will also find it useful and/or amusing:

Nice, I have wondered occasionally how many were actually left.

Whilst I think most of the Dramatic Personae will probably never get made as I think they shoved them in there for fun and atmospheric flavour.

Old three eyes or whatever he’s called in the Goliath book is especially low on the list as its effectively a huge monster and would be freakishly expensive to buy because it has next to no use.

It is bizarre that certain house brutes and hangers on have been omitted. Likewise generic Bounty hunters (though we’ve had loads of resin ones with names)

The Orlock cargo hauler Servitor is supposed to be on tracks, so you can kit bash it easily enough between two existing kits - but that is still very expensive for one model, especially if you don’t need the rest of the stuff.

Not official models but the designer Printmini has a tonne of these models designed and made by a variety of licenced sellers.

I feel like many of these characters were based on some of the Forge world and Games Workshop sculptors interview pieces. Every now and then they get to actually produce the model they designed to get the job and I like to get them now and then It is half the reason I have a Eyros Slagmist. (The other half is the epic hat. Nothing to do with his stats).

And one House has gotten its Brute twice.
And just this week we learned we getting a second version of an existing Dramatis Personae.
At least it will a very different version of lady Helmwyr and not just a alternative sculpt for the exact same stat line.

On the one hand I would like the remaining Succession campaign characters that you get for free for each faction.
On the other hand I love the allied delegations and would like more of those.
On the other other hand (am I a Genestealer hybrid?) I wish they would just give Orlocks their Brute.
Aside from whisper merchant in Jardlan, and Margo Medena aren't all the Succession characters done?

They might struggle with the Corpse Guild model wise. They can't make it look too Corpse Grinder Cult chaosy but at the same time the two bodyguards need to look like proto hungry hungry hippos.
Iron guild are done. Just hive scum
The promethium lot will be dead easy. Mechanacus hoodieness flames. Job done.
The guild of coin you can pretty much just use some of the Inquisitorial Agents from the Kill team range.

The adeptus mechanicus Kataphrons only need a weapon swap. ( You can do more Orlock bits if you want). You get three for £40 so any forge world equivalents of one of lugger just will not sell.

A fair few were as some of the sculptors have confirmed as much online (probably to GWs annoyance).

I suspect that many of the others are for fun and flavour though, unless GW has a cupboard of them already done.

If anything, they’re probably grabbing a profile - say, Alice Shivver, and the artwork and telling prospective sculptors to give it as go as a test piece.

That might explain why many are missing.

one House has gotten its Brute twice.
Which one?

Orlocks - none.
Escher - Khymerix
Goliath - Zerker
Van Saar - Arachnirig
Cawdor - Stig Shambler
Delaque - Whatever that floating thing is.

Do you mean the much larger plastic kit of two Ash Waste Arachnirig things? Because technically they’re not Brutes…

I know the Escher had their Phyrrcats resculpted as the first version was crap. Second version isn’t much better but at least it was released. Either way, they’re pets.

Legendary sculptor Trish Carden (was Morrison in the 80s) sculpted the Sumpcroc based on a drawing from her daughter (who works for GW currently).

Virtually all the Gangs of the Underhive dramatic personas were interview pieces some resculpted from the designers original interview pieces from the original game.
I believe all the non clan looks ones , so not Athera being clearly Escher although her Caryatid is a re skin of one of the original sculptors interview pieces, from the Books Of peril and ruin are. (Or are from original concept art submissions. I have a distinct memory of seeing the Eightfold harvest lord as artwork on a GW publication cover back when I was small, still grumpy, kind of didn't need that flashback when I first saw the pic in the Book of Ruin).

On Alice Shivver, that model if produced will come from every possessed witch ever. No need for originally there. It's a quintessential classic look for a reason.
(Real easy to make from the female outcast body though).

I suspect they will never realase a model for Freikstorn Strix just because they might have to actually pronounce the name on a video. 😁

The Van Saar new plastic ash wastes arachrigs are Brutes 0-2.
Plus they have everything on them to be "regular" arachrigs.
I suppose the Goliath Zerker sort of counts as resculpted as well. Nobody uses them when the mighty Stimmers are a thing now....
(Maybe @Neil McLellan was referring to the Delaque Spyker. It used to be a Brute. Still is a little bit)

Alice is supposed to be ex-Orlock and the artwork has her in very Orlocks garb. So she is a floaty banshee type and there was a model released (male) in one of the kill teams that had a similar pose.

I think we have to ignore kitbashes as that can obviously be done for anyone.

I don’t think Lady H needed a new model at all and this “update the storyline” stuff is quite concerning as it implies there will continue to be models or even entire factions that could get a remake or even be removed from the game system.

But they’re not supposed to be though, they’re vehicles/mounts otherwise they’d have to use the Brutes rules for having them in the gang, which would be silly.

Plus they’re a lot bigger and clearly have jet engines on. Sure people will use them as a regular one as it’s cheaper to buy 2 in plastic than one smaller resin one.

Plus the resin one isn’t invalidated by their inclusion. You can field both simultaneously unlike Lady H - you can’t use her regency model and the Spyrer suit at the same time.

So it’s not really a resculpt of a brute but more of a lazy vehicle design because… they ran out of ideas/didn’t want a hovercraft. And Lady H looks like a mini Arachirig so it’s clearly just a design pattern now, not just a specific thing.

The Ash Wastes Arachni Rigs with jump boosters do in fact count as Brutes as far as including them in gang, they take up Hanger-On spots and have all other rules pertaining to Brutes, including you can’t spend your 400 for “vehicles and mounts” on them. (Somewhat offset by Neoteks and grav cuters for other members counting in the 400)

They already did Corpse Guild

Which is silly. 🤪

So basically they gave them no vehicles at all and retconned the existing figures. 🙄

Oh well if those are the rules… thank goodness I don’t own them. They’re crap.

With Delaque not getting anything bar some drivers, VS getting a reshuffle of existing stuff, Cawdor get some awful robot legs…

What was the point of the Ash Wastes? 50% of the gangs got stuff they had already had or could use in the Hive and the others got some form of bike. It wasn’t until enforcers that we got any form of actual car.

You could just’ve gone “gosh this huge dome in the Underhive has a very vicious sandy wind” and it wouldn’t make much difference.

If you click on link in first post I list everything. There is a column for campaign specific stuff, mainly Sucession. But to summarize, they are missing “The Proohet”, a pretty important character that is in 2 books. From the first book they don’t have Cyniss, so there is only one character for the lmperial House faction in first book, whereas others have at least 2. Also missing Djangar Gunfist from first book for unaligned.
So annoyingly it is the first book that is missing the most.
And then even more annoyingly as a Cawdor player, they are missing the guy I could take even outside the campaign, lol. (Although from one perspective Cawdor have it the best of anyone in terms of incompleteness, all the Dramatis Personae in their House Book have minis. Although most of them existed long before the book came out. They just really missing the House specific Hangers On, and you don’t even need to really kitbash those so much as proxy.)

Yeah it is weird.

It is pretty hard to keep the Goliath characters straight, they all have pretty similar names, and there is a bunch of them in Sucession campaign.

I think it would be fine using the universal vehicles and custom vehicles rules for all gangs to convert and scrtach build.
