Vs Elven team Pegasi Princes
Result: Orchids 2 Princes 3
Post match commentary:
It was hard going playing elves twice, with the boyz little legs finding it hard to keep pace!
But the weather was on their side, with blizzards and rain most of the day!
Fouling was semi successful, with my dirty players constantly being sent off (someone obviously tipped the refs), the rest of the team were left unhindered to proper put the boot in!
They had a little bit of luck in their game against the undead, enjoying a massive mid field brawl with some mummies! And in the second half, under the scrutiny of the other teams coaches, the Orchids managed to maintain pressure and score the winning touchdown in the final moments!
With the win, they jumped up to second place, but would have to win their second Elven game 5-0 to be in with a chance of top spot!
.....they failed.....
But not before getting a couple of consolation touchdowns!
Although they didn’t succeed, it’s as the saying goes- it’s not the winning but the crumping of many many elves that counts!

I think it was a 2-0 victory to the bruisers, but both teams had intimidated the refs so it could have been overruled!?
(Took a while to work out the nuances of the secret weapons, otherwise it probably would have went the other way)

Also, are you using the latest gw rules (no idea what edition they are up to now), or are you using the classic rules? If the new ones, how are they? I've not played in 4 or 5 years I think so completely missed the revision gw did to the game

They released 'second season' - not to be confused with second edition - in 2020. I'm not sure anyone really knows how to count editions now, after the LRB years.

to a deplorable casual like me... the first season was the same as LRB which was the same as the gw edition it came from. There were subtle differences but I never played enough to notice.

just playing good ‘ol 90s version, didn’t even read the ’new’ one, just wanted the new board and goodies after playing a game with me durham yak brothers! Don’t like the look of ‘second season’ or most the new teams that come out. Tho wouldn’t mind the champions of death (despite the stuuupid running mummy!)

Seems like a good reason to buy some 3rd party models to make up different teams if you don't want to port over BB minis.
Most of the best third party BB minis are from the wrong side of the pond for me. There’s some amazing Spanish ones.

In my head, I’m envisioning a game played between two teams of Goliath! (The Danger Wolves and The Clone Hearts!?)
A single roided up big guy (iv forgot what they’re called), then all the other players are called after the weapons they use: 1 Power Hammer, 2 Renderisers, 2 Spud jackers and 3 brute cleavers?
