Necromunda Looking for base model for ash wastes VW campervan base model.

Ok much as the title. I'm looking for a base model that is either a VW campervan or has potential to be styled as a VW campervan in an Ash wastes style vehicle. For necromunda ash wastes scale.

My mate has styled his Van Saar gang on the colours of his real life VW camper. So I thought it'd be good to get him a ride worthy of the gang. Not sure if I'm going to do conversion work for him or let him do it. Just looking for a decent cheap base model for now.

Any suggestions welcome. If nothing else what scale model should I really be looking at?

My son has what you need, pretty close scale etc. I am trying to remember the brand - it was nothing fancy, the kind of vehicles you get in Tesco or Asda if you're in the UK. It came with a boat trailer.

Edit: Teamsterz - it's a bit sleek on the front but is clearly modelled on a VW camper.

I'm fairly sure @CaptainDangerous used the same vehicle once.

I’ve seen die cast ones in grocery stores in the US. Also CVS pharmacy has them too.

You can get a scale model kit. Might be a touch off scale but revell do a good 1/24 scale one
